The house has 9 bedrooms (2 masters) 5.5 bathroom and 2 huge living rooms, a formal dining room and enough space around the kitchen for all family and friends to enjoy. This was a perfect off-season get-together for friends and family coming from NYC and Newark. The house was warm and toasty in November, and it was a short walk to the peaceful and beautiful beach. Several playgrounds were walkable from the house. All in all, a beautiful space and great location.

A wonderful house in a fantastic location in Ocean Grove. we had about 16 people and everyone had plenty of room. i would update the kitchen pots and pans but that is really the only thing i would change. Fabulous shoprite not too far away and we enjoyed tino’s pizza one night. we really loved the house- thank you!There was no laundry detergent- tried to start a load of towels and sheets when I saw the container was empty.

This is a great property with everything you need. Close to the beach and shoppes in town. Easy walk to Cookman and Asbury. Recommend!

Perfectly housed our family reunion with plenty of space. Great beach access. No problem finding free parking on streets of town. Loved walking the boardwalk and getting to Asbury and neighboring towns without a car. Great large kitchen for feeding group and big front porch to enjoy.

Beautiful home for a family reunion. We were 20 people and had plenty of room. Love the peaceful town of ocean grove. Owner was always available and attentive to our questions and needs. This home was lovely, spacious and accommodating. We loved the short walk to beach and into town.

We had a fabulous time!

Every summer my family gets together for a reunion . Finding an affordable house big enough for about 20 of us is not easy. This year we scored! This house is large, clean and has everything you could need. The neighborhood is lovely with the beach and boardwalk are nearby. We change locations each year but we may very well return to this house very soon.

Great location within walking distance of the beach, boardwalk, restaurants and shops. Some of the beds were a bit uncomfortable but most were fine. I recommend adding a can opener to the property.

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a group of 13 stay at George’s for the 3 day weekend. The house was perfect for what we were looking for, with a very short walk to town and the beach/boardwalk. George was responsive for a couple questions we had and would recommend this listing to anyone interested.

Wonderful family holiday home

We enjoyed this beautiful, spacious and well-appointed Ocean Grove home for our family holiday event. Ten of us total with multiple dogs found plenty of space, easy access to the town, beach and friends, and our needs as guests anticipated.

Seashore Find

Our group enjoyed this renovated, spacious house by the ocean. The open first floor layout with modern kitchen and large center island was great for meals and socializing. There were plenty of bedrooms spread out over the second and third floors. The beach and boardwalk were a short two blocks away and small town center with stores and restaurants one block. Easy walk to Asbury, Bradley and Avon. Owner was very helpful and responsive to questions.

Family Week at Ocean Grove

Property is very nice and well-maintained. Location is great, kids really enjoyed the foosball table. Owner was very responsive and resolved the only issue that we had the same day. This property was perfect for my brother, sister, parents and our kids. Kitchen is great for cooking for a large group. Would recommend and stay here again!

Lovely Summer Weekend Getaway

We had a lovely experience here! The house was clean, so spacious, and beautifully renovated. It sits in a quaint neighborhood and everyone there is very friendly. The beach is 2 blocks away and is very nice. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for a large group

I stayed with my friends for a girls trip and it was perfectly spacious for a group of 15! We stayed during a heatwave and the upstairs air conditioning broke but George had a repairman there the next morning to address the situation. The location couldn’t have been more perfect, blocks from the beach and close to Main Street for coffee and breakfast. Would recommend!

Great spot for large groups

Our group of 10 enjoyed a great weekend here. This house can sleep double our amount and was a perfect spot to enjoy some time together, with easy access to the beach, OG main strip, and Asbury. This is an historic home as most are in town, with some of the usual quirks that come with old shore homes, but all living areas, bathrooms, and the first floor have been entirely redone. The big kitchen / entertaining space is perfect for groups of friends or families to gather, and all appliances are new and high quality. Owner is very responsive and had an issue addressed extremely quickly for us. He is planning to continue upgrading items like bedding and linens in the near future, but the house worked well for our group as it is. We would definitely return in the future.

Labor Day Weekend Stay

We booked the property for an extended family get together for Labor Day Weekend. The property is great — very close to the beach and to Main Avenue with its shops and restaurants. Great kitchen and living room area on the first floor. Lots of beds/bedrooms. George (the owner) was attentive to all our needs and responded to questions throughout the weekend. We had a wonderful time.

Perfection

The house was everything we had hoped for during our two week vacation with our entire family! There were 20 of us and we had more than enough space to gather together yet still have our own personal space to unwind. The house is enormous but still feels like a home. The location can’t be beat. The neighborhood is peaceful and charming with shops for whatever you might need within walking distance and Asbury Park Boardwalk is a short walk away with restaurants and entertainment for all ages. We had the best time and would definitely stay again!

Perfect spot for a Family Reunion

We were excited to be one of the first families to stay and the newly renovated property, our host George was super responsive and made sure that we had everything we needed to have a memorable week-long stay. We had 25 family members stay at the house as we celebrated both a one year birthday and the 93rd year of the family matriarch. We cooked every meal in-house and the first floor layout was perfect for meal prep and spending time together. The kitchen space is truly the gem of the entire house, and many of the elders took advantage of the sparcious front deck of the house. And the close proximity of the house to the beach was an added benefit for our crew of all ages. Neighbors were friendly enough and we had no problems with parking even though we brought several vehicles and had some more family stop in for day-visits. We would highly recommend the property and would certainly come back again!
