About this property

Remodeled cabin - minutes from boat ramps & lake fishing!

Our cozy cabin has had many remodeling updates since 2020. It is fully furnished and includes 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, 1 full bunk bed with twin bed on top, and a pull out queen sofa in living room. We have plenty of room to park your boat as well. We are not located directly on the lake due to Corp of Engineers property that protects the lake. But we are just minutes from Lake Russell and Clark Hill (Strom Thurmond) boat ramps. We are also located about 1/4 mile from the entrance to Bobby Brown State Park with great picnic areas and access to boat ramps. Bring your boat and enjoy the great fishing or just relaxing and having fun on the lakes!

Close to lake and boat ramps if you are planing a fishing trip. Quite and tranquil location with a nice front porch view. If I return this will be my first option.

We were in the area for a small tournament on Lake Russell. The location of this property is excellent if you want to fish on Russell or Clarks Hill. Very close to ramps on both lakes. The property was very clean, well stocked kitchen, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the best features for me was the amount of room around the property to move the boat around with ease along with the garage to park the boat out of the elements. We will definitely be looking to stay with the Stephens again the next time we are in that area. Thanks for everything.

Fishing Retreat

A beautiful weekend among friends for a fishing retreat. The house and location were perfect. Very clean, comfortable, and bonus to have and over sized storage area / garage for the boats. If looking to fish local, the location is perfect being near several locations for accessing the boat ramps and water. Those hosts were very responsive and great! Thank you!!

Haven in the storm

My son and I came to fish a two day tournament. The cabin was in excellent condition, clean and a warm cozy place to relax in after fishing all day in the rain. Having covered parking for the boat was a big plus! I would definitely stay again. Thank you, Mr & Ms Stephens

Nighttime Striped Bass Fishing Trip

Very nice cabin with great amenities for a fishing trip if you want to fish above and below the Russell Dam. First time for fishing these lakes after over fifty years of nighttime striper fishing. We are a couple of weeks early for the shad spawn so the fishing was not as good as it could have been however, we did catch some good fish over 15lb. Great location and easy access to boat ramps, gas, and not far from a Walmart. Thanks to our host for making this cabin available to my family.

Fishing tournament

We rented this vrbo so tbat my bf and his fishing partner could compete in the TEC Classic State Championship that was held on Lake Russell. The loctaion was perfect. 30 min away from blast off..and the guys took 1st place. Big fish and big bag. They beat out 39 of the best electric fishermen in the state. So thankful we didnt have to drive 3 hours from home. We enjoyed the firepit and the carport with plugins for the boat were perfect. Thank you.

We are a family built and family owned cabin since 1988. My father and I along with a good friend from Georgia built this special cabin. We have recently worked very hard to remodel and update it to make it very comfortable for our guests. Over the years our family has experienced many fun times on the lake with boating and fishing. We hope you will relax, have fun and enjoy the lake as much as we have!

If you enjoy fishing that is minutes from our cabin on beautiful Lake Russell and Clark Hill Lake you have found the right cabin. There is plenty of room for your boat on our property with many boat ramp options in the area to choose from. We are also one half mile from the entrance to Bobby Brown Park which has a boat ramp to use as well.

What makes this property unique

We have a large garage, easy access to many boat ramps , access to charging boat batteries from our garage, etc. and large yard, driveway for your boat.
