Private home of three bedrooms and 2 1/2 Baths within a gated community. High definition TV found in every bedroom in addition to the living room and high speed internet available throughout. There is access to a large private association pool.
The home has is well stocked with towels, bedding and house hold appliances and blow dryer.
This beautiful home is close to ocean and the beach. Only three blocks to Jimmy Buffets, Sloppy Joes and Duval Street entertainment. One of the nicest homes in the best area of Key West.

30 Night minimum stay is required.

The house was very clean and just the right size for five people. Location was good, a little bit of a walk to Duval, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Pool area was nice as well. Our only complaint is this is in the Truman annex so at night there is only one street that you could enter the annex, but we got used to it. Would stay again.

Thanks for your response. If you decide to stay in the future there if actually an owners key that allows you to go through three private gates to reach Duval which we would be happy to provide. All these gates are locked after 6:00PM and this key will work.

Great Stay

The townhouse was very clean upon arrival and we were very happy with the size of the unit. Great location too! Only hitch was I feel some of the furnishings could use a refresh. Otherwise great place to stay in Key West!

PERFECT LOCATION PERFECT PLACE

The best place to stay in Key West! The location is ideal. Walking distance to anything and everything (Duval, Southern Buoy, beach, shopping, Truman House, Hemingway House). It’s in a very safe and quiet community and the pool is very private. Checking in and out was super easy and we had no issues with the house. I would recommend staying here!

Worth the money

Our stay at Truman Annex was great. Beautiful property, secure, nice pool and off street parking. The condo is very nice, well stocked and as advertised. Walking distance to most any of Key West favorites. Beds and linens were excellent. We really enjoyed our stay. Recommended.

Wonderful

Great location not to far from duval but enough away from the busy streets. Though you can still walk there. Beautiful neighbor.

Wonderful relaxing space in a fantastic location

Incredible customer service! Immediate communication and follow up to make sure all amenities were satisfactory. Location is central to so many activities yet in a quiet and friendly setting. Key West Rental

While we enjoyed the layout of the house, we all felt many aspects were not ver clean. The rug in the living room was extremely dirty to the point that we didn’t feel comfortable walking on it with bare feet. The same could be said regarding the sofa - please reupholster this asap. There was also mold in the second full bathroom.

We are extremely concerned the cleaning did not meet you expectations. We use the same cleaners that many property owners use in Key West and never had a complaint in last 10 years. However we will immediately have the first floor area carpet cleaned as well as all the furniture. Thanks for your input it really is appreciated.

Wonderful house, location was problematic.

This is a great house for a family vacation. However there is a public parking lot that is behind the back patio shrubbery, which was a loud party spot several nights. Music, shouting, cars coming and going. It was so loud we couldn’t use the back patio. It culminated our last night with an empty liquor bottle being thrown at the French doors, and breaking all over the patio. We were inside and as the doors don’t have any curtains, felt quite exposed. We never engaged with anyone, ever, not sure why it was done. I left a message with the management company and a note to the cleaning crew, but never heard back from anyone.

Great condo!

Very convenient to all of Key West. We had bikes delivered and we’re able to ride everywhere. The condo is secluded in a quiet neighborhood. The pool is steps from the front door, we practically had it to ourselves. The master bedroom could use a little attention. It has a PC, WiFi, TV and DVR. These devices along with the light from the motion light on the deck and the parking lot, made the room a little to bright for my personal sleeping preference. The bed could use an update as well, just a little loose and noisy. The neighborhood has gates that close at 6 pm. It appeared that residents had keys to use the gates rather than having to go the main entrance. It was unclear if our unit had such a key. Note of these would keep me from booking again. It’s a great condo in a great spot.

Disappointed

This property was in a great location. Upon entry it seem to be a great place...... Until it wasn't. We noticed our feet were black from walking barefoot in the house, that's when we knew we had to take a closer look around. The carpet in the living room was so filthy, and when we checked out plates, utensils, etc,.... We felt the need to put everything in the dishwasher. There was a busted end table in the bedroom, broken blinds throughout the home and mold in one of the bathrooms. This is definitely not what we expected for the money we paid. We did bring it to the attention of the owner and he said he would address the situation. So be mindful if you decide to rent this property. Just a friendly heads up

Best stay in Key West

This was our 4th Christmas in Key West and by far the best property we’ve stayed in. The location and neighborhood are excellent. The property had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen (pots, pans, Tupperware, spices, etc.) The three full bedrooms are quite generous, all with TVs, and two with full ensuites. The back porch is so spacious and plenty of space to store bikes. The pool is heated, which was needed since it was unseasonably chilly while we visited. I’d definitely stay here again, especially because the management was so responsive and helpful.

Tranquil Location

Our stay at Tropical State of Mind was magical. We were in town for 8 days to celebrate our wedding. The location is perfect. Complex is private, serene, quiet, and close to Mallory Square and all the action on Duval Street. The salt water pool was beautiful, clean and although shared, was very private. The condo was spacious, had a well equipped kitchen, and bathrooms were very updated and spacious, especially the master bath. The only compliant that I have (very minor), is that there should have been some toilet paper and paper towels stocked in the unit. We did run out of toilet paper in the master bath and had to run out to CVS to stock up the next day. There is a CVS close by on Truman that was very convenient, helpful staff (including the pharmacy) and huge parking lot. The back deck was very nice, private and equipped with table, chairs, grill and beach chairs. This is a lovely property and we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to others.

Fantastic stay!

Great property within walking distance to all major Key West attractions. Quiet, relaxing community away from the hustle. Residence was exactly as advertised. Our host was also accessible and provided us with some very helpful tips that added to our enjoyment that week. Everyone in our group had a wonderful and relaxing time. Lovely and convenient!

I just stayed at this property last week to enjoy a return visit to Key West with family. To start with the positives, I will say that this is the best part of Key west to stay in with family. It is in a quiet, beautiful and safe part of the island, close enough but away from the partying crowd. This was a priority given we were there with young kids. There was a neat splash pad around the corner that many folks brought small children to in order to cool off. The complex is also close enough to walk to the southernmost point to watch the sunsets! The unit was clean and neat and very comfortable. The water pressure and air conditioning worked great for being as hot as it was. We used the outdoor grill to cook breakfast and also a fresh catch from a fishing trip. We had to change the propane tank but there was a spare conveniently stored in the outdoor storage cabinet. I will concur with aforementioned reviews that the furniture is worn and needs to be replaced but it worked just fine. The beds were comfortable as were the linens. Beach towels were also available for use. The washer and dryer worked well and came in very handy. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking and eating utensils. I suggest you make a list to go purchase basic groceries you will need at the local Winn Dixie grocery store when you arrive. The grocery stores are not in walking distance but we had rented a car so we didn’t have any concerns. We were able to use Instacart app for things we needed to restock and have delivered from the Publix grocery market. In terms of communication, I suggest that the rental company send future renters a map of the property. Our GPS wasn’t picking up on it. We arrived at night, it was dark and I regretted having to call and disturb the owner for instructions to his unit. He was so very kind and made sure I got to the unit before ending the call. I really appreciated that! I did have a minor concern with communication with the rental office. We found that there were 2 coffee makers either not working or missing parts so I called the rental office, was told I would get a response within a day and they never responded. We just went ahead and purchased a 5 cup coffee maker from the local CVS. I mention this so the owner can ensure the rental company stays on top of renters needs no matter how minor. Overall, we had a fabulous family vacation and would return to this location again in a heartbeat!

Perfect location and private setting

We walked everywhere so it was a perfect location close to the fun and still nice and quiet. We ran in the park next door and lounged at the pool when not exploring.

Yearly Family Vacation

Great location to Duval Street. It was nice and private. The key we were provided did not always work in the gates to get into the property, and it would have been nice to have that system explained to us before our arrival. The furniture was a little run down in the family room, the cushions were stained. The patio was dirty. The grill had no gas and was dirty. We had planned on cooking out but with no gas and the shape the grill was in we decided not to. We would have provided gas if the grill was a little cleaner.The pool was just outside the condo which was great. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. They provided basic necessities which was very nice. We were there during Football bowl week so it was very nice to be able to watch the games. Good T.V. selection. We liked staying in the Annex but I think I will try a different condo next time. Again the convenience to Duval Street is amazing.

Beautiful home and great location!

We stayed here over Memorial Day and absolutely loved it. It's within a short walk of the beach and downtown, but secluded and quiet too. The home is immaculate, beautiful and had everything we needed. Reserved parking, pool literally right outside the door. The private patio was a highlight and we tried to enjoy all our meals out there even though it was starting to get a bit warm outside! Highly recommend and will be back!

Great condo in a great location

Once again we had a great stay in this condo! We stayed here last year and couldn't wait to come back with our kids. The rooms are tastefully decorated and having 2.5 bathrooms was very convenient. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed and there were pool toys and noodles for the kids. The pool is excellent and right out the front door. We spent hours floating and playing! The condo is wonderfully convenient to Duval St and Sunset Pier. We were able to walk with our small kids and watch the sunset celebration nightly. All the activities, shopping, and restaurants are just a short walk away! I highly recommend this condo and we hope to stay here again!
