A Beautiful Day is undergoing a stunning full renovation and will make its grand debut in June 2026 as a reimagined three-bedroom, three-bath luxury beach cottage that sleeps up to eight guests. Perfectly situated in the heart of Seaside, Florida, this home is just 194 feet from the East Ruskin Pavilion beach access and a short stroll from the town’s charming shops and restaurants. Designed to blend Seaside’s timeless coastal charm with fresh, modern luxury, every detail has been thoughtfully planned for comfort and style.

The renovation includes an expanded layout with a raised roofline that enhances the open, airy feel and a new rear addition featuring a light-filled dining room surrounded by windows overlooking the landscaped yard. The completely new chef’s kitchen will showcase custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, counter-height bar seating, and premium KitchenAid stainless steel appliances.

The home’s iconic screened front porch remains a beloved feature—perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails—with a sofa, club chairs, coffee table, and twin hanging bed. Inside, guests will enjoy all-new designer furnishings, curated décor, and a large wall-mounted flat-screen TV for cozy family evenings.

The Primary King Suite, located at the front of the home, will feature built-in storage, a flat-screen TV, and an ensuite bath with a single vanity and a glass-enclosed spa-style walk-in shower with both rain head and handheld options. The Second King Suite includes an ensuite bath with a glass-paneled tub/shower combo, ideal for families, along with a single vanity, flat-screen TV, and closet. The Third Bedroom, part of the new addition, will offer two queen beds, built-in storage, a pocket door for privacy, and an ensuite bath with modern finishes, a single vanity, and a glass-enclosed shower.

When I saw the pictures of A Beautiful Day I knew I had found our spot. It was very charming and with the high ceilings it felt larger than it actually was. We spent a lot of time in the front porch swing. The location was perfect. Once we arrived we never had to get in the car again. We walked or rode bikes everywhere. The small town of Seaside was one street over. The private beach access was right across the street. The property managers were so friendly and helpful.

Cozy and comfortable, even during Hurricane Helene

Reviewer Comments: This cottage has a wonderful deep screened porch with comfortable furniture which was perfect (and perfectly dry) during the very rainy two days of hurricane Helene. It was perfect for napping, morning coffee, and people-watching. The location cannot be beat, It’s steps from the beach, one street from the center of town, and in the older part of Seaside, which we prefer. The cottage is well-appointed with two nice bedrooms and baths. The kitchen had everything we needed, though we did not cook much during our stay. We did not use the sleeping loft. There was good storage in the bathrooms, fair storage in the bedrooms. My only negative was that there were so many throw pillows on beds and sofas, they took up too much room in closets or bedrooms. I should probably have climbed the ladder to the loft to put them up there!
