The property was perfect for our needs. Extremely spacious and well appointed. Plenty of towels and very comfortable beds in all the bedrooms. The kitchen had a wide variety of pans, utensils along with numerous unexpected items that made preparing meals a dream. We did have a couple of minor issues that came up and they were immediately addressed within fifteen minutes of our call, and this was on a Saturday!

Breckenridge Christmas

The home was awesome. The scenery, location, efficiency, roomy conditions of layout. It was fantastic and everyone had a blast. From snowball fights to sledding in the yard, to snow shoeing to cross country skiing. It was fantastic and all members will have wonderful memories of Christmas 2024.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a great experience at the Last Nickel Lodge. The location was easy to get to and close to the lifts. It accommodated 15 people no problem, comfortable for all plus the hot tub and outside grill was super easy to use.It seemed like parts of the house were colder than others, maybe it was because there every several thermostats to adjust and we didn't realize it until toward the end of our stay. Could use some clarity in guest instructions for those staying there.

Early Christmas with family

The property was beautiful. The main bedrooms all had its own bathroom and shower. The house was very clean. Checking in was very easy. We saw three moose wander through the back yard while staying here. The management staff communicated with me daily making sure we had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to have an early Christmas with our family.

Wonderful home for ski vacation

Our large family stayed at the house for a 1-week ski vacation and the layout of the house was great! There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and large enough table and living/play area to spend time together. The check-in/check-out process was easy and the property manager was very friendly and responsive.

We bounce around to different mountains every day based on the forecast/ski conditions. We prefer to rent a nice home away from the mountain as we are comfortable driving the short distance each day to our ski location. Last Nickel was the perfect choice this year. Great kitchen and plenty of room to spread out.

Management was great and very responsive; will definitely use again next Thanksgiving (our annual tradition for 16 years)!

We had an amazing time in Breck this year and The Last Nickel Lodge was absolutely perfect! The house was clean, beds comfortable and kitchen well stocked. I’ve already booked our next years stay with River Ridge Rentals!

AMAZING STAY

The house is a dream in a great location. It has lots of privacy and enough space for kids to run and have fun in the snow. Loved that we had no neighbors on the back patio of the house as it faces the golf course. We had ana amazing time and would come back.

Thanksgiving stay

Great place to stay at if you have a big family, great views, great location, and great customer service. The place was amazing and had a great time. I would definitely recommend and would return. Owner checked in with us via text message everyday to make sure everything was good or if we had any questions.
