The Space:

Beach Construction Notice:

The City of Norfolk will begin a sand replacement project on Toler Place and Willoughby Beach (from 11th View St to the terminal groin) in response to significant erosion from recent high tides. Work will take place Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, beginning in late May 2025 and continuing through late July 2025. You will have to use the beach from 11th Bay and down to enjoy the beach.

Please be aware that the impacted section of the beach will be closed during work hours but will reopen in the evenings and on weekends. Alternate access to the beach is available via 11th View St and other nearby entry points.



Your stay may be short, but you can still enjoy a wonderful beach vacation at The Coastal Cottage. This home is custom designed to provide comfort and relaxation for families. The living and dining areas are brightly decorated and curated to be the perfect spot for entertaining and spending time together. The kitchen is fully equipped with stone countertops, new designer stainless steel appliances, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The Coastal Cottage has 3 bedrooms that can comfortably sleep 6 people. The Crate and Barrel dining table accommodates the entire family, while the custom designer living room is perfect for a movie night in. You'll find real down comforters, hand-picked feather and gel pillows, and luxury bath towels to indulge yourself. The sun-filled master bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has a twin bunk bed. The full bathroom has a bathtub, making it easy for kids to take a bath. The backyard is perfect for family time, with a fire pit, gas grill, and patio swing & chairs for lounging. Beach chairs are available.



Please be aware that landscaping is scheduled for Monday to Wednesday in Norfolk. If you have booked this property, you acknowledge that our landscaper will enter the backyard to cut the grass during this time. Additionally, trash is scheduled to be picked up 3 days a week, and our private trash provider will be on site bringing the cans out and back in.

Your comfort is our priority, and we appreciate your understanding.



Baby Gear (Optional Add-On)

Traveling with little ones? We’re happy to offer Pack & Plays and high chairs for your convenience. These items must be reserved in advance and are available for a $25 rental fee per item.



Parking Information

Driving to your Sojourn? Please inquire with the Sojourn team to make a parking reservation to ensure your arrival is seamless and stress-free. Sojourn and the property owner are not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or injury involving your vehicle or its contents. Pet Policy

Most of our residences are pet friendly and welcome your four-legged companions. While most booking platforms include the pet fee upon reservation, any exclusions will be invoiced at $15 per pet per night for stays up to 30 days and $450 total for stays 31 days or longer. Kindly inform us of any pets joining your stay so we may update your reservation accordingly. We do love furry companions, but we do have some properties that are not pet-friendly. If you’re traveling with a pet please ensure this is a pet-welcoming home. If it is not, we’d be happy to recommend one of our many pet-friendly stays.
