We had the best time staying in Milford for my son's baseball tournament at Cooperstown Dreams Park. The location is the absolute best. The view was beautiful and the house fit 5 of us comfortably! The host Darlene went above and beyond and we are so thankful for her. Would definitely recommend for future Cooperstown Dreams Park families. Only wish we had time to go fishing in the pond, but baseball kept us busy.

Property was great, especially for a family. The pond with the fishing boat was super fun, my boys loved looking for frogs at night. If we had more time, we would’ve loved to fish in the pond as they did see them when we were out on the boat. Host was great to communicate with overall a super easy process and a good way to start our Cooperstown trip.

Cooperstown was a memorable trip but what made it the best was staying at home with our host. The home was perfect. We always wanted to go explore the surrounding villages but the boys always wanted to return to play at the house. Thank you for the great memories!

Great House 1 Minute From Dreams Park!

If you are looking for a nice house with great views and want to be close to Dreams Park, this is the place to stay. We had two families staying at this house and it was perfect. It is literally 1 minute from Dreams Park which made it super convenient to go back and forth to the park and for other places such as the local grocery store, local restaurants, and downtown Cooperstown. Darlene, the owner, was fantastic to work with. You won't regret staying here if you need a place to stay for one of the Cooperstown Dreams Park Tournaments!

Perfect home close to Cooperstown Dreams Park

We stayed at Grandpa's Back 40 for thr first week of 2012 Cooperstown baseball. The home is perfect. It's close to the baseball field, has everything you might need for a home away from home, and has been lovingly cared for by Darlene and her family. We'll absolutely stay here again if we make it back to Cooperstown!
Response from VrboOwner on Jul 19, 2023
Thank you for your kind review. As you witnessed, we are working weekly on improving even the little things. We hope you will return when it is not pouring rain and get to enjoy the pond and firepit! Your gift of the expresso machine was very kind and I am sure our future guests will enjoy it as well.

Cooperstown Baseball

We stayed the week of August 6th as our son was playing at Dreams Park. Being 2 minutes away from the park was huge especially with 2 long rain delays. The large fishing pond in the back was amazing and our son spent hours back there! We are so happy with our stay and can't recommend it enough!

Home away from home!

I miss it already! Thank you for renting your home to us last week. This home is very spacious and warm and welcoming. It made our trip to Cooperstown that much more memorable. The location made it very convenient to get to the ball fields quick while getting a family of 5 ready for those early games. :-) Looking forward to staying here again.

Thank you so much for your kind review! We are so happy that you enjoyed our home and, I too, am looking forward to your return! Our goal is to make our home welcoming and relaxing....not the "party house". I have so enjoyed all of our guests this summer and am looking forward to see what the off season brings, and next summer of course! See you for your Girls Getaway!
