Relax with the whole family and/or friends at this peaceful place on a secluded island just minutes from Everglades City nestled in the Everglades National Parks 10,000 Islands. We are minutes from The Everglades NP Headquarters. Museums, fishing, kyaking, and hiking nearby.

Enjoy the canal views behind our house and the bird life. As you sit on the deck listen for the barred owls who have made this island their home or take a look at the stars at night in Floridas darkest sky veiwing!
The space
3/2 house nestled in the Everglades National Park 10,000 Islands. Our house is located on a canal. It has a 12x20 patio deck with seating and a charcole grill. Central
A/C and heat. Ceiling fans in bedrooms. Master has own private bath. Guest bathroom has a deep soaker tub. #2 bedroom has a double bed, #3 has 2 twin beds. Kitchen is fully equiped and has stainless steel appliances. Stove has a built in airfryer. Fully remodeled in 2022. Washer and Dryer.

our property is on a saltwater canal.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Check-in was a breeze. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay, with thoughtful extras thrown in like beach towels (which we used on a day trip to Marco). The host did a great job communicating. The property was very clean, well stocked and very nicely decorated. Lots of spices and cooking dishes/appliances. Lots of little extras, beach towels, charcoal grill, fire pit, and great deck. Plenty of parking space for SUV and kayak trailer. Conveniently located to our activities. Very nice place. We stayed three nights over the Veterans Day weekend. This is tucked away on Plantation Island. It was very quiet. Checkin and checkout very easy. Place was clean and equipped with everything we needed.

My wife and I grew up in this area and went to HS together. I am a Charter Boat Captain for 30 years. My wife manages our airbnb. We also have a lodge in Brazil in the Amazon where we offer ecotours, birding and fishing. We love what we do by offering adventure and a place to rest.

The birds who frequent the canal behind our house. The Barred owls often heard at night and the dark skies for star gazing. Quiet, peaceful yet close to everything including the Everglades National Park Headquarters.
