Living tropical island

Tropical Island Living for those wanting to get away from the crowd. Dock your boat right at your front door. The Snook and Tarpon Capital of the World for the fisherman. Nature lover's dream come true with Eagles, Manatees, Panthers, Gators, Mangrove Trees and Cypress Trees everywhere. The best Air Boat rides and wild animals are at Wootens Tours. The Island Manager can refer rental boats, kayaks, shelling and tours. Call Island Manger's phone (239-289-9578) for ferry boat access. See other important additional information below.

Guest Parking at dock and a five minute Ferry Boat ride to Club Everglades. Club House has a heated pool, giant TV, computer and exercise equipment. Boat trailer parking for the fisherman 2 blocks away. The normal Ferry Boat schedule is on demand with Island Manager from 8AM to 9PM daily. Other times can be scheduled with the Captain who lives on the island at Club Everglades. There is no cost to my guests for the Ferry Boat rides during normal hours and a reasonable tip to the Captain for after hour service as expected.
Prefer monthly rental at current rate per month plus cleaning fee, county and state taxes, HOA application fee, dock fee, and background check fee . No daily or weekly rentals. All QUESTIONS should be directed to me at Naples Realty Services.
Great sightseeing drive from Naples via I75 or US41 to SR29 and south to Everglades City.

Perfect Holiday!
We stayed in the cottage for 6 weeks and had a 4 star experience. If you decide to stay at The Everglades Club, remember this is an small island, no cars, no bridges. The host was the best VRBO host we have encountered, the cottage was first class and not lacking for any household items. The fishing was great, the neighbors friendly and island manager always available and helpful.

COVID-19 pandemic
Ended up leaving a week earlier than planned due to virus. Appreciated offer for future credit. Any communication we had with the property owner was always prompt. The property was very clean and very comfortable. The pool area was glorious! The staff on the island were friendly and accommodating to our needs. Will definitely return!

A gem in the Everglades
Beautiful cottage, impeccably decorated with nod to fisherman owner, and well-maintained. Other island renters were friendly. We especially enjoyed our ferry captain.

I was raised in Everglades City and have always enjoyed the quaint little Fishing Village. After graduation in 1962 I moved to Naples where I am an active Realtor in both sales and rentals.

Why they chose this property

We now live in Naples and built this island home in 2002 to allow our children and grandchildren to enjoy the beauty of God's creation as we did.

What makes this property unique

Peaceful and beautiful with views of the Barron River flowing on both sides of the house. Stone Crab boats come and go through out the day. No traffic lights.
