About JOHN BURNS

I am a Real Estate agent in Los Angeles/Beverly Hills for the John Aaroe Group. From my early school years I can remember riding my bicycle to all the neighboring new housing developments in Miami, Florida where I was born and raised to look at the furnished model homes. My life long love and appreciation for quality design began there and continued to my college and early work years in Texas and my 34 years in Los Angeles. This is property # 17 for me. I am certain I have a few more home projects in me but for now I am content. I have a second bedroom & bath planned and beginning to explore installing an outdoor spa (plunge pool).

I am quite fond of the Warm Sands Neighborhood for a number of reasons. It is one of the oldest if not the oldest neighborhoods in Palm Springs. It has had many famous residents from Bugsy Seigle to Walt Disney. It is primarily Spanish in it's architecture (Adobe and Stucco) with a good representation of 40's and 50's Ranch and Mid Century. The mountain views are some of the best and walking and bicycling are great modes of transportation to downtown Palm Springs. I see a bright future for this area along with positive growth and enrichment.

Super great!

This vacation rental was perfect. It had everything we needed and more. John is super accommodating and helpful. The house had more than enough space for the two of us and our 65lb dog. The patios are lovely. The interior is very comfy. The location is great - we rode our bikes down to the main strip; we walked to Townie bagels and Sherman’s. Very central. Well priced and more convenient than a hotel.

Great stay, as always!

I've been staying at John's Warm Sands house for the past few years during Easter week. It is always immaculately clean and very well equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. As I am staying there for work, it is always a quiet refuge to return to after occasional long work days. It's also within easy walking distance to most of Palm Springs most popular restaurants.

Such a lovely home a couple of blocks away from downtown Palm Springs! The home has great space inside and out (including a grill) which made it the perfect getaway location.

Home is 5 minutes from downtown Palm Springs, great restaurants and shopping. Quiet neighbourhood, lovely home with all amenities, we loved it. I didn’t give a 5 star rating because wi-fi was not always working properly. This was the only problem. Great patio area for relaxing or dining.

Perfect location!

This property is very close to downtown Palm Springs. It is immaculate. Lovely private patio and also a shared garden. The John, the owner lives in the back house but is very respectful of your privacy. He's very knowledgable about the art in the house and the gorgeous plants in the garden. We really enjoyed chatting with him. And when we couldn't find the remote for the DVD player, he went out immediately and replaced it. And to top it off, we left our phone charger and he sent it back to us! I highly recommend this rental.

The new addition is located downtown @ Palm Canyon and Beristo RD. The art museum is located behind the old Palm Springs Mall (under renovation).

2) The Living Desert in Palm Desert is also a must see.

3) Uptown District- Located in the fast growing North end of Palm Canyon Blvd features Art Galleries, Mid Century furnishings, Trina Turk Boutiques, soon to open Arrive Hotel.

4) Many wonderful Hiking Trails are located within a 5 minute drive of the house.

5) Joshua Tree- is a wonderful day trip

6) It's a quick 2 hour drive to LA, Hollywood, Santa Monica, and San Diego.

7) Palm Springs Ariel Tramway... Largest Tramway in the world, and it rotates!
