My partner and I had a great stay! The sauna was excellent — it gets very warm which is a must for us when going on vacation. The room was nice and welcoming and we were able to cook most of our meals in the outdoor kitchen. The only downside was that the kitchen was a bit chilly due to the weather and time of year. Nevertheless we made it work!We met our host Lauren one of the mornings of our stay, she came by to clean up the property. She was very nice and we had a great time chatting with her! I would recommend this stay to anyone who likes Port Angeles :)
We stayed here for our daughter’s wedding on Hurricane Ridge. It was the perfect location to get around the area. The house was a great place to gather our family and spend a couple nights together with the newlyweds.
Lauren was so easy to get in touch with and helped with a recommendation for a health issue.

Dear Mary, we were so glad to host your family as you celebrated your daughter’s wedding. Thank you for being wonderful guests—it was truly a joy to meet you all!
This stay was absolutely perfect for a stop on a road trip through the Olympic peninsula! We greatly enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the amenities were fantastic and Lauren was an extremely welcoming and communicative host. She ensured that check in and out went perfectly smooth and made sure to let us know we could call or text if we needed anything as they were a short distance away. We would love to come back and stay longer, this place is the perfect amount of nature while being close to a number of fantastic eats and hikes!

Dear Nikki, I was having difficulty figuring out how to access our reviews and just figured it out :) I wanted to thank you for booking your stay with us and for your incredibly kind review. It was wonderful to host you and we would be delighted to welcome you back anytime!
My family and I stayed here for my 25 person wedding. (Only 14 for overnight guests) It was the perfect property to have a rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, and brunch. We were able to use the big, beautiful yard and deck for a variety of activities. The house was well stocked. It was fun for my 7 year old nephew and a safe place for 2 infants. The host was wonderful to work with during my planning process. The property is truly so unique and worth the stay!

We would have like the hot tube to work and the sleeping said that 3 in the living room we didn’t see how that was possible. Everything else was nice and cozy. Thanks for letting us stay

Dear Doris, thank you sincerely for taking the time to review our property. We were delighted to host you all! We are so sorry to hear that the living room configuration was not what you expected, and we were not aware of any issues with the hot tub—as I personally made sure the hot tub was ready for your arrival. We would have been willing to pop over and rearrange the furniture and show you how the hot tub works had you asked. I am sorry this greatly affected your stay. We hope you stay with us again!
This was the perfect stay for my partner’s 44th birthday. The shared space outside with the hot tub, outdoor kitchen and fire pit has a cool 70s vibe that we loved - surrounded by big tall trees, it was very enchanting! Inside the spacious room it was very comfortable and well appointed. The bathtub and shower were incredible! My only suggestion would be to offer robes :) Thanks again!

Skyler, thank you sincerely for booking your stay with us! I apologize for my delay in response, I was having difficulty figuring out how to access our reviews, and just found it. Thank you for your kind words and helpful feedback. We now have robes! We hope to see you again :)
The house and property are both wonderful. The location was perfect for our stay. We had 3 generations staying in the house and plenty of room for everyone. The Art Studio and Game Room were perfect additions to the house. The kitchen is well stocked for a large group. The rental is close enough to Olympic and Port Angeles to enjoy the outdoors and eating in town. Lauren was always ready to answer any questions before and during out stay. Hopefully we will be able to enjoy the house again in the future.

Thank you Kathy, we were so glad to host your family reunion. You all were so kind and took such great care of our home and property. We greatly appreciated your communication skills and we look forward to hosting your stay the next time you come to visit the Olympic Peninsula.
We enjoyed our stay. Only one shower is a problem for a group. Dishwasher broken. Used lots of paper plates they provided. Fridge door needs work. Some noise from “Extreme Sports Park” nearby but not bad. Overall, pretty decent.

Dear David, I’m sorry you weren’t pleased with your stay. We actually have two showers in the home—one in the downstairs bathroom and one in the upstairs bathroom in addition to the two half bathrooms. We did not anticipate the dishwasher being broken and had to order one as a replacement. We did the best we could to make this inconvenience more manageable for you all in providing disposable plates, dining ware, and cups. What issues did you have with the fridge door? I’m sorry you heard noise from the sports park—we lived there over a year and have never heard them. Again, I’m sorry your stay at our home did not meet your expectations.
The 12 of us had an amazing stay at Holiday Haus! The location was great for exploring the park and Lauren was a super nice and accommodating host. She always responded right away and even dropped by a couple times to help us with some minor issues. The house was perfect for our large group and is so charming and cozy. We all ate together in the dining room and the large living room was an inviting gathering space. We used the grill one night too, which was great. The beds were large and very comfortable and we all slept soundly! The kitchen was especially well-stocked. There are lots of amenities available in the rooms and closets and on the property. You should definitely book!

Valerie, thank you for booking your stay at Olympic Holiday Haus, and thank you for being truly wonderful guests! It was a joy to host you and your family as you explored the Olympic National Park. We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay—we would be delighted to host you all again if you venture out this way!
It was a wonderful location! The property was gorgeous and felt so cozy! I was a bit surprised when I found out later that this particular room to book is just a room with its own entrance attached to a house. I found that I would have appreciated that being stated a little more clearly, but perhaps I didn’t read all the details that well. There was one other couple in another mother-in-law style suit near us, and still it was quiet and nice. The lock box was a little confusing, but I think that’s more of the nature that I don’t typically use key lock boxes like that. Overall very wonderful place and stay. Also! We really loved the recommendations left for places to visit and eat at!! We did try a coffee place recommend by the owners and it was amazing!!

Breana, I was not quite sure how to access reviews and just figured it out and wanted to thank you for your kind review and feedback. It was a joy to host you and we would welcome you back anytime!
We stayed on this property for 3 nights during our elopement with 7 of our family members. We all absolutely loved this property and really cherish the great memories we made together. I would describe the home as rustic, medieval, quirky green carpet in some places, vintage hardwood furniture, occasional taxidermy, and full modern kitchen. I really appreciated how clean the home and property were and the thoughtful and loving details in every room (e.g., many clean towels in each bathroom with soft gray makeup towels; plenty of nice matching dishes/cups). The treehouse with skylights and half bath was also a neat bonus. Our dogs absolutely LOVED exploring this property too. Even though there are only two full baths (and two half baths if you include the treehouse), each room generally had at least one sink so that was helpful for facilitating getting ready. The expansive backyard has an art studio, trampoline, small playground, fire pit, hot tub, and clean outdoor kitchen. Lauren was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful. I really appreciated how open and communicative she was about having vendors on site (e.g., table/chair rentals, staging, hair stylist, make-up artist, and photographer). I think you can really get a sense of how much care and hard work they put into hosting, and we are so grateful for them sharing their home with our family. We will always remember their hospitality and highly recommend this place.
