Downtown Bigfork, 1 Bedroom Luxury Condo overlooking the Swan River

Enjoy spectacular views of the Swan River from this deluxe condo with all the comforts of home in the heart of downtown Bigfork. This unit is located on the second floor of the building and is accessible by either an elevator or the stairs. This 1,200 sq. ft. well-furnished condo is spacious with an open floor plan. The unit has tile floors in the bathroom and entry way and a wooden floor walk-in closet and bedroom. The living room is an engineered wood floor with oriental rugs in the living area and dining area. There is plenty of seating with a queen sized sofa, love seat and a comfortable overstuffed chair. The living room also boasts a gas fireplace and opens onto a 220 sq. ft. deck with chairs, table, chaises lounges and a Weber gas grill overlooking the Swan River. Enjoy the scenery and sounds of the river while sitting by the fireplace or use the deck to enjoy a meal or simply soak in the views of the river. This condo works extremely well for working remotely as the WiFi is fast and reliable.

The bedroom features a king-sized bed with a walk-in closet and a large ensuite bathroom. The shower is large with a natural pebble floor.

There is ample room in the entry way to hang clothes or store shoes and outdoor gear.

Swans Nest is at the heart of Bigfork and a minute's walk from shops, the Bigfork Summer Playhouse, galleries, boutiques, fine restaurants, live music and central to all the outdoor activities associated with the mountains and the lakes of the Flathead Valley. It is a forty-minute drive to Glacier National Park, but there are many other outdoor activities even closer by such as hiking in the Jewel Basin Wilderness area or Harrell Forest, playing golf at Eagle Bend Golf course, paddle boarding, horseback riding, kayaking and fly fishing on the Flathead and Swan Rivers.

Flathead Lake offers many boating and sporting activities. There is abundant swimming, rafting, tubing, paddle boarding and kayaking opportunities in the rivers. In the winter, enjoy cross country skiing in the valley and by Glacier Park and snowboarding and skiing at Whitefish Mountain and Blacktail Mountain near Lakeside.

Parking is available in the parking lot at the complex. You will need a 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive for much of the year. We rent two 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicons, a 2020 Jeep Gladiator, a Wagoneer and a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica minivan.Please let ys know if you are interested as they book up fast. We offer our guests discounted rates and also have car seats, ski racks and coolers and bear spray. Note: we do sell these out in the summer.

What a wonderful, comfortable condo for our trip to Bigfork. It was clean and well-appointed. We loved being close to restaurants, shops, and especially the coffee shop. It was too chilly to enjoy the balcony but we loved watching the river.

We are a couple who reside in New York City and have spent the past thirty years vacationing in the area with our four children. We also own a farm with a farmhouse, yurt, cabin and two barns in Somers Montana. The farm grows wheat, canola, peas, alfalfa and barley.

Why they chose this property

There are so many activities we enjoy in the area that we wanted to be able to enjoy coming to Bigfork at other times during the year. We enjoy flyfishing, skiing and horseback riding and the quality of life that Bigfork has to offer. We love the weather during the summer and the winters are remarkably mild with an abundance of snow.

What makes this property unique

Being so close to the restaurants and galleries and being able to walk everywhere in town while enjoying the river is wonderful. The river view is constantly changing as the flow of the river rises and falls with the seasons.
