We had a relaxing and very comfortable stay at the Cabin! It was a welcoming space to both human and canine guests, very clean, and thoughtfully furnished. Everything you might need during your stay was there! Sam responded promptly to messages. This is a great stay in Central Oregon and we will look forward to a return visit.
The host was so communicative. We changed our schedule after the booking and it was so easy to update the dates. And the place was was clean! It was a great stay.
We had a great stay at this property. The house was beautiful and the owners were very easy to work with. They got us some snacks and donuts when we had showed up. We very much enjoyed our stay
This house was probably the cleanest house we’ve stayed in through VRBO. The hosts were very accommodating and communication was great! We will definitely try to stay here again if we’re ever back in Prineville.
Rip's Cabin - Very relaxing, comfortable place to stay in Prineville. Hosts were amazing.
We enjoyed staying at Rip's Cabin very much. The decorating was excellent and the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The hosts answered our questions quickly and left us excellent goodies to enjoy while we were out touring the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument. We will definitely stay there again the next time we are in Prineville.
We stayed here to visit family and it was a cozy place for us to relax. The only thing that would make it better would be a fenced yard for the dogs but it worked out OK. Overall, it was a nice place. We would stay here again.
This house really lives up to the photos. Everything was clean. The beds were comfy. The kitchen had everything a cook needs to feed a family. Conveniently located. The hosts were friendly, very helpful, and even provided yummy snacks for our group. We hope to stay here again our next trip.
We stayed here with our children and friends and couldn’t have asked for a better host and home. Very communicative, beautiful clean home with everything you could think of. Complete with drinks and snacks and a surprise box of donuts for our arrival! Will definitely recommend and stay again if in this area again.
Very tidy, clean and nice accommodations for 4 people. Great snacks, comfy furniture and good cooling/heating system. Had everything we needed and was close to everything.
We would have like to sit outside but the outdoor areas were not conducive.
We came for a long weekend/4th of July family vacation. There was enough room for our ski boat in the driveway with plenty of extra parking. The owners were wonderful and accommodating to every little thing. Great communication! They even bought a dog bed for our labs 🐾💛
It was a good week’s stay. We enjoyed the treats. Thank you! The interior of the house is very family friendly.Couldn’t give top mark because of unfinished backyard and poor cooking utensils. The Teflon fry pan was so damaged we bought another and left it for the house.

Hi Leonard,
Thanks so much for staying with us! We're glad you enjoyed your time and appreciated the family-friendly setup.
As mentioned in our listing, the backyard is still a work in progress, but we hope the photos helped set expectations. We’re sorry to hear the pans weren’t in great shape—we will take a look at them.
We always try to check in and assumed things were going well when we didn’t hear back. We do encourage our guests to use the app for communication purposes. Your feedback is appreciated and we’ll continue working to improve!
Best,
Warfields
The house was very comfortable, well equipped and felt like home. I appreciated the personal touches that the host left for us. The location was great, within walking distance of the main street if you wanted. We would definitely stay at this house again!
