Located on the Severn river at the mouth of Sparrow Lake, Just 5 minute walk to the Lauderdale Point Marina, just rent a boat for the day, enjoy it, park and secure it just in front of your cottage in our large floating dock or take your paddle board to ride and relax with the scenic view of the river shores; forget your worries in this spacious and serene space.

The cottage was just as the images provided looked. Very spacious and all things provided were there for us. The sock to the water was also clean and easy to access. If there was anything that can improve on would be a better working oven. The oven seem to have a sensor issue. We had a day it worked great and another time it would say it reached the cooking temp when it’s under (tested with external temp gauge). Overall, very happy with the stay and would 100% love to return. Bonus; they have great neighbours too…very friendly community.

Perfect Gateway

The house was nice and cozy off the coast of sparrow Lake. It was equipped with all the necessities. We had lots of fun playing pool and other games. We had the best time in the backyard sitting by the river and playing games. Definitely will recommend to a friend.

Enjoyed our stay...relaxing. Water was the perfect temperature and allowed us an opportunity for play and cooling off when needed. My boys particularly enjoyed the billiard table for an activity after dark. No fighting over showers as the property has 3. Only one small surprise was we had to agree to not flush toilet paper as the property has a sensitive septic system. To be fair we got used to this and wasn't as bad as we thought it would be. Come packed and prepared as "running" into town isn't so quick. Our only regret was not staying an extra night or two. We stayed for 3.
