Blue Bliss Cottage with Separate Boat House Accommodations on Lake Muskoka 4b/2b

Welcome to Blue Bliss! Our little piece of heaven on Lake Muskoka! Our cottage is located just 1.5 hours from Toronto between Gravenhurst and Bala...very close to everything the Muskoka Lakes region has to offer. The main cottage is classic Muskoka on flat, easy access property with ample parking. The cottage has tons of natural light and charm, two spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dining table that seats 8 and a comfortable living room with excellent Wifi and large TV to stream movies. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and there is a coffee station with Nespresso coffee maker. The main deck off the cottage has magnificent views with comfortable large sectional, a dining table for 8, and BBQ with propane. The fire pit is set up with Muskoka chairs next to the cottage with firewood provided. The boathouse is just a few steps away from the main cottage via a deck walkway and a few stairs down and features two bedrooms and a lovely waterfront deck with Muskoka chairs and space for yoga. The boathouse has a Keurig coffee maker for easy access to your morning brew. The boathouse also has a separate Wifi network and fold-up table to provide the option of a private office. There is also a door separating each room in the boathouse and each room has its own entrance door from the upper deck for added privacy. The water level of the boathouse has two single kayaks, one tandem kayak, two paddle boards, life jackets and a swimming raft. The cottage is located just minutes from all the great Muskoka shops and restaurants. Take an afternoon or dinner cruise on one of the Muskoka steamships from Gravenhurst Wharf. Great golf and hiking nearby. All bed linens and towels provided. We are looking for responsible, non-smoking renters who want to enjoy some quality time in Muskoka. Unfortunately, we do not allow pets (sorry, owner has allergies).

Fantastic Cottage

Blue Bliss is exceptional! We enjoyed our stay immensely. The cottage was well equipped and the hosts, Carolyn and John were very responsive and easy to deal with. The setting is gorgeous and very relaxing, the classic Muskoka experience.

Blissful week at the Blue Bliss Cottage

We enjoyed such a truly blissful week at this beautiful cottage. It was lovely to sit out on the deck and look out on the lake, to see loons and blue herons, to see a deer on our walk and to gather as a family around the table each evening and recount the day's adventures.

The area was beautiful. Short drive to Gravenhurst. Well stocked except for spices, so bring your own. Nice area for walks along the road. We really enjoyed the fire pit and the deck on the boat house. Both very relaxing.

Perfect Getaway

We spent three nights here in late October and we’re very happy with our choice. The cottage is very clean, Well designed, and well-maintained. We were very pleased to arrive and have access to coffee and a gift certificate to the local bakery. A beautiful view, a great and spacious deck and balcony, and a fun area for two or three people to sleep comfortably in the boathouse. Thanks for a beautiful stay!

We had an amazing week-end. The cottage is charming with a real Muskoka feeling! Loved the coffee station. Beds were very comfy and the deck was great to relax and be all together. Perfect weekend gateway

We visited as a family of 5 and it was the great getaway. Spacious, cozy, and beautiful views of the lake to enjoy from the main cottage and boat house decks. Absolutely loved them. The cottage was well-stocked with everything we needed. Ample parking. The bbq is great. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit and kayaking. Overall everything seemed to be well thought trough. Definitely exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend and would come again!

Nicely decorated, perfect location

Cute cottage with details like 3 types of coffee makers, welcome gift, nice decor and outdoor accommodations. Carolyn was quick to respond to enquiries. Excellent location on Lake Muskoka, close to marina/boat launch and Town of Gravenhurst, Bala, Bracebridge. Newly added ensuite bath and renovated master bedroom made it a nice stay. Excellent view of lake amd lovely glass balcony for panoramic view. The only negatives were: no a/c, and the kitchen while fully equipped, was small and basic. But overall a nice stay.

Incredible!

We had the most amazing time as Blue Bliss over Thanksgiving! The cottage is spectacular - just as pictured! Bedrooms and bathrooms are amazing The views from the cottage and boathouse are breathtaking You can’t beat this location. 10 mins from Gravenhurst and so easy to get to. We did a few hikes that were close by to see the fall colours. We were even able to cook a whole Turkey dinner for thanksgiving! We would definitely stay here again! It wasn’t long enough! :)

Lake getaway

Great location. Very peaceful setting. Great views from the boathouse and patio. Fire pit outside was worthy of an every evening activity. Lake is very conducive to swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. Very convenient to Gravenhurst. 10 to 15 minute drives to groceries, restaurants and other amenities in the area. Nice hiking trail around Hardy Lake lake only 2.5 miles away. About 6 miles away is the small town of Bala(opposite direction away from Gravenhurst). Really quaint little town with some amenities and a nice falls to look at. Happens to be the Cranberry capitol of the Muskoka. Go figure. Overall well worth the trip.

Blue Bliss vacation

This cottage is as cute as a button and quite cozy. It appeared there had been some recent renovations or updates. We have two teenagers and they stayed in the bunk house/above the boat house which had two separate rooms and was just adorable. There was plenty to do. Kayaking and paddle boards. We also trailered our boat for fishing. Marina 5 minutes away. We visiting all the near by towns, Port Carling, Bracebridge and Huntsville. Just a beautiful place to stay. Lots of places to sit outside. Would absolutely stay here again. The only suggestion we would have would be a place to sit outside that was covered if it rained. It rained briefly during our stay and we were forced to move inside. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Everything and More

We stayed a week at this cottage with my two adult children and their partners. The cottage was well-stocked with linens, towels, beach towels and every imaginable cooking utensil or dish. It was spotlessly clean and well-maintained with a great outdoor area and fire pit with muskoka chairs. Everyone relaxed and there was enough room for everyone to spend some alone time. The area is great for walking as the cottage is on a road that is not very busy. The owners thought of everything including some spices, coffee, tea, and even a s'mores kit! With kayaks, paddle boards and our own boat, there was no room for boredom. Even our fishermen were happy with their catches. We had fun, and the one rain day, we played one of the provided board games. John and Carolyn take wonderful care of this cottage and are very responsive if you need anything. We would definitely book again. Thank you for a wonderful week of bliss :)

Great Location with Fantastic Views and Excellent Accommodations

To start, the hosts were amazing, ensuring the finest details in all aspects of our stay. The cottage easily accommodates up to 8, with separate sleeping quarters including two large bedrooms in the main cottage, and two bedrooms in the boathouse. The beds are extremely comfortable in all rooms, and each room has its own baseboard heater to adjust the temperature per person or couple. There are two bathrooms with ample towels and toiletries. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything necessary to make a good meal including sharp knives, cutting boards, plenty of plates and drinking glasses. There is a coffee nook with an Nespresso machine, mugs, and some coffee pods provided. In the main living room, there is a large couch and two very comfortable chairs. You can literally sit on the lounging portion of the couch and look right out onto the lake from a large window. It’s extremely relaxing for those days where you just want to sit around and recharge. From the main deck, you have a great view of the lake, however it is also secluded from the next door neighbours for privacy due to thick foliage. The boathouse is in impeccable shape, with very well-lit pathways and is easily accessible from the main house. There is a fire pit with provided wood and Muskoka chairs, very comfortable for a nice relaxing evening. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely go back again.

Blue Bliss Cottage Stay

We recently stayed at this cottage and it was absolutely Beautiful! The Scenery is incredible and the cottage itself is just perfect, very clean and has all the amenities we needed for our stay.
