Why Maria Madigan chose Galveston Island
We chose to purchase this vacation rental primarily because of it's location on the beach. The fact that my family doesn't have to walk across seawall blvd to be able to enjoy the beach is a big deal for my wife. Also, its proximity to our home, familiarity with Galveston, and its proximity to family in Houston Texas.

We love the heated pool, jacuzzis, the beach, kite flying and our daughter loves building sand castle.

Perfect for what we needed
The location of these condos is ideal, it's still close enough to anywhere you would want to go but is located directly on the beach so you dont have to cross the busy highway with all your stuff like you do at most condos in Galveston. The unit itself was clean and updated. It was small but worked well for our family of 4. Our two teenage boys actually loved the little cubby in the hall that held the bunk beds, they felt like they were each in thier own little cave and it was roomy enough for them even though they are both 6' tall. All of the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable (that alone would bring me back here because i am usually miserable trying to sleep on vacation). Even the toilet paper provided here was the good stuff. We had a minor issue with the toilet not flushing (caused by the previous renter flushing a bar of soap and clogging it up) the first day we got there but Maria had it taken care of in no time. Maria was super nice to deal with and very helpful. I highly recommend this rental and will definitely stay here again when we come back!

BEST CONDO ON THE ISLAND!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this condo and its owner, Maria! This is the second time we have stayed in her condo, and we will NEVER stay anywhere else. We've been to Galveston three times in the last 5 years, and because one of those trips was a last minute one, we were forced to stay somewhere else because Maria's condo was booked. I can tell you there is no comparison. Unit 2222 at Seascape is immaculately clean when you arrive. The refrigerator and microwave were sparkling clean and living area is so comfortable and cozy. You will have everything you need for the kitchen, coffee pot, pots, pans, utensils and a dish washer so you don't have to spend time doing dishes. The King size bed is by far the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in while on a vacation. Our 5 1/2 year old grandson LOVED sleeping on the top bunk in the recess of the hallway and he was right outside our room. The pool and hot tub area is gorgeous and always clean. Unlike all the other condos on the island where you have to cross an extremely busy street to get to the beach, the Seascape sits directly on the beach with its own boardwalk over the dunes. Just not having to fight traffic to get to the beach is such a plus for our family. Our grandson was introduced to the ocean for the first time on this trip and he cried because he didn't want to go home!!!!! We had the best trip we have ever had to Galveston, and honestly, where you stay really DOES make a difference when you are at the beach. Cleanliness and convenience go a long way, especially when you have little ones. I have absolutely nothing but rave reviews for this condo and I promise you will not be disappointed if your family stays here. If I were being honest.......I would tell you that I cry (just a little) every time I leave Galveston and this unit in my rear view mirror. Galveston is a magical place and this condo will help you make memories to last a lifetime with your family! What are you waiting for......go to this Condo and make memories of your own! Great beach access property!
We had a great stay at this condo. Everything was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfy and my kids loved sleeping in the bunk beds. It was great to be able to just walk to the beach straight from the condo and not have to cross the highway. The beach was great and beach toys were provided in the condo. We also used the pool and enjoyed that as well. It is close to restaurants and the Pleasure Pier. The owner was easy to contact with questions before our stay. We had no problems while we were there. The only thing I would mention that was a challenge is that there was no washer and dryer in the condo. I knew that when I booked it. I didn't realize when we were there that there was a coin operated laundry area on the property. It would have been very helpful. The owner did write in the agreement that there was a laundry facility on property. I just didn't notice until we were leaving.

Credit Card accepted via Venmo, Square Cash. Please add 3% (minimum depends on your credit card fee) of total costs to cover credit card fees. Special events and holidays will require minimum of 3 night stay. PLEASE EMAIL ME FOR QUOTES. RATES ARE HIGHER FOR MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND, 4TH OF JULY, AND LABOR DAY WEEKEND AND REQUIRE A 3 NIGHT MINIMUM OTHERWISE A 2 NIGHT MINIMUM IS REQUIRED. Accept 50% payment due now and 50% final payments 30 days prior to arrival date. 3 or more nights stay that crosses over to weekend night may have a lower nightly rate than the weekend rate.
