Why Maria Madigan chose Galveston

We chose to purchase this vacation rental primarily because of it's location on the beach. The fact that my family doesn't have to walk across seawall blvd to be able to enjoy the beach is a big deal for my wife.

Also, its proximity to our home, familiarity with Galveston, and its proximity to family in Houston Texas.

What makes this condo unique

We love the heated pool, jacuzzis, the beach, kite flying and our daughter loves building sand castle.

Hello, we made it back safely from Galveston and I wanted to say that we really enjoyed staying in your condo. I'd say pretty much everything worked out great.



We took advantage of the boogie board and lawn chairs in the closet! We never visited the pool, however, as we didn't have time and visited the beach instead.



The beds and couches were very comfortable. The microwave and oven range worked extremely well! The location was ideal as it was in a quieter location on the island, yet only a few miles from the most of the shops and restaurants. The view was perfect. Overall, we'd definitely consider renting your condo again for future trips to Galveston.

BEST CONDO ON THE ISLAND!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this condo and its owner, Maria! This is the second time we have stayed in her condo, and we will NEVER stay anywhere else. We've been to Galveston three times in the last 5 years, and because one of those trips was a last minute one, we were forced to stay somewhere else because Maria's condo was booked. I can tell you there is no comparison. Unit 2222 at Seascape is immaculately clean when you arrive. The refrigerator and microwave were sparkling clean and living area is so comfortable and cozy. You will have everything you need for the kitchen, coffee pot, pots, pans, utensils and a dish washer so you don't have to spend time doing dishes. The King size bed is by far the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in while on a vacation. Our 5 1/2 year old grandson LOVED sleeping on the top bunk in the recess of the hallway and he was right outside our room. The pool and hot tub area is gorgeous and always clean. Unlike all the other condos on the island where you have to cross an extremely busy street to get to the beach, the Seascape sits directly on the beach with its own boardwalk over the dunes. Just not having to fight traffic to get to the beach is such a plus for our family. Our grandson was introduced to the ocean for the first time on this trip and he cried because he didn't want to go home!!!!! We had the best trip we have ever had to Galveston, and honestly, where you stay really DOES make a difference when you are at the beach. Cleanliness and convenience go a long way, especially when you have little ones. I have absolutely nothing but rave reviews for this condo and I promise you will not be disappointed if your family stays here. If I were being honest.......I would tell you that I cry (just a little) every time I leave Galveston and this unit in my rear view mirror. Galveston is a magical place and this condo will help you make memories to last a lifetime with your family! What are you waiting for......go to this Condo and make memories of your own! THANK YOU MARIA.....WE CAN'T WAIT TO PLAN OUR NEXT TRIP!

Great beach access property!

We had a great stay at this condo. Everything was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfy and my kids loved sleeping in the bunk beds. It was great to be able to just walk to the beach straight from the condo and not have to cross the highway. The beach was great and beach toys were provided in the condo. We also used the pool and enjoyed that as well. It is close to restaurants and the Pleasure Pier. The owner was easy to contact with questions before our stay. We had no problems while we were there. The only thing I would mention that was a challenge is that there was no washer and dryer in the condo. I knew that when I booked it. I didn't realize when we were there that there was a coin operated laundry area on the property. It would have been very helpful. The owner did write in the agreement that there was a laundry facility on property. I just didn't notice until we were leaving.

Great location, comfortable condo

No need to cross the busy seawall road - we just crossed the dunes on a private boardwalk to a clean and quiet beach! Grocery stores are about 5 minutes away, but there is a gas station just across the road. Bed in the condo was super comfy, and my daughters loved the bunk beds. We had 4 people and were very comfortable, but I think more than 4 would be a tight fit in the living room for eating/relaxing. I really loved sitting on the balcony and drinking coffee each morning. We'll be back!

Love this place

This is our second stay here with 3 of our grandkids. The first was a few years ago at spring break time. We really liked it. But this time we got to go in June. It was totally awesome. How could you not love it. Right on the beach--no crossing a busy street. Great pool, the water was warm, not cold. A small kids pool, and 2 hot tubs- 1 was adults only. We spent most of our time in the water. Kids loved the bunk beds and my husband and I enjoyed our own bedroom with the very comfortable king bed. So nice to look off the patio and see the ocean. Kitchen was great, we could have breakfast and lunch without spending a lot of money. It was one of the best and most relaxing vacation we have had in a very long time. Hope we get to come back again
