Island time

Overall good. Transformer blew while we were in the hot tub, that was rather scary. It would be nice if families with small children could be on the first floor. We couldn't drown out the sound of running feet above us because the TV wouldn't connect to the Internet. But overall good stay, would stay again

Great place but a couple of problems that could be easily remedied

First of all....there is a third party involved in this booking. Odd that, since it's VRBO. It was confusing until I figured it out. I rated this property highly, because the view is perfect and the location is excellent, but the furnishings are a bit dated. There were 4 adults and 4 children. We had exactly 8 towels, 4 washcloths and four hand towels. Not nearly enough. No extra blankets and were short one pillow. We had dishes for 7 people as I suppose a previous guest broke some of the dishes...oh and 7 forks. We found a few odd pieces upon searching the cabinets. A broken mirror on a sliding door in the 2nd door was troublesome and reported upon arrival to the property manager. We had trouble with the thermostat for the air conditioner and it kept cutting off during the day and at night. A message from VRBO to the owner remained unanswered, but the property management company representatives were very kind and responsive. Also of note is the high level of security on the property. A 24 hour security guard was very vigilant. The entrance to the property from the beach is protected by a lock box. Guests are required to wear a "paper bracelet" while on the property. All that being said, I would stay there again because the view is gorgeous and is so convenient to the beach. Seascape is a great place for families.
