Overlook Trailhead Lodge is a brand-new custom-built home in the highly desirable Powder House Pass Development designed to be the starting point for your adventures making memories with friends and family. Handicapped friendly, the main floor of this house is zero entry.

This hand-crafted 5100 sq ft lodge features 6 bedrooms/ 5.5 bathrooms and sleeps 27. With an additional 1800 square feet of outdoor living space, there is room to gather together, or to spread out. Unique and spacious, this lodge boasts a giant great room with a two-story fireplace and ample comfortable seating, all in front of a massive bank of windows to enjoy the view of the Black Hills. You will love the spacious kitchen with plenty of room for everyone to gather with a 14-foot island and a 12-foot-long table! You’ll find all the amenities you
could hope for, including two ovens, two coffee pots, a massive amount of fridge space and plenty of storage. Outdoors on the covered deck there are 2 large BBQ grills, a cast iron griddle, and patio table and chairs!

The oversized heated garage will also become a favorite gathering space since it is well stocked with a bar table, tools for keeping your rigs on the trails, outdoor games and an oversized double door display fridge.

Your group will surely enjoy the upstairs game room with its generous bar area, arcade space, and game table. The patio doors lead out to the unique rooftop lounge above the garage with amazing views and comfortable seating. Another place to spread out is in the lower-level walk-out with an additional family room and a kids’ play area.

Another great outdoor area is in the backyard where you can enjoy the fire-pit area, the hot-tub, and a table for gathering to enjoy nature! Both young and old alike will enjoy the Giant Backyard Pong game area! Guests are also welcome to use the two outdoor pools and the community clubhouse at the PHP entrance.

Overlook Trailhead Lodge also boasts custom furniture galore, two laundry rooms, a treadmill with views, a unique backyard area, and plenty of space for vehicles and trailers to park.

Great place to stay if you need the space and want to be able to spread out and relax. We ended up staying wirh only 7 people because part of our group didn't make it, but we'd definitely go stay there again! If I had the extra cash I'd be interested in buying this one because of the space and open layout. I wouldn't hesitate to book it!

We had an amazing stay at this home in the Black Hills! It was absolutely perfect for our group of 21, which included six families. The house was so thoughtfully laid out and everyone had their own room and bathroom, which made it comfortable and stress-free for all.The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials we needed to cook meals together, and we loved the added touches like games and fun extras for both kids and adults. Great for a large group!

This house was so beautiful! All the rooms had accommodations for multiple people making it a great place to rent if you have family and friends. The large kitchen and living room area was great to hang out with everyone at the same time. There was also an area for gaming with 2 tvs to watch all of the games! The kitchen is fully equipped with many different cooking tools plus 2 grills and a flat top on the deck. The outdoor space was so wonderful, yard games for added fun. The hot tub was an amazing feature as well. I will definitely be back! We didn’t get to the clubhouse but it is definitely on the list for next time!

The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, serving items, and utensils, and flowed seamlessly into the living and dining areas. The oversized table made shared meals easy, and the open living great-room with TVs in all the right places throughout the house provided multiple perfect gathering spots.The outdoor areas were just as impressive, with two large BBQs, a Blackstone grill, and covered patios on multiple levels offering great views and plenty of seating. The spa and patios made for relaxing evenings, and there were games inside and out for both kids and adults. Parking was more than ample, even for a group with off-road vehicles.The layout gave everyone space—sometimes you had to go looking for people because the house was so large! Bedrooms, patios, and common areas were all thoughtfully arranged and stocked with perfect furniture, never cramped. The addition of a grocery-store style glass door fridge in the garage was a huge bonus, making it easy to store food and prepare meals for a big group. Multiple washers and dryers across levels added great convenience.The location was excellent for local activities, especially off-road adventures. Communication and access were seamless, and it was clear the hosts designed the property with large groups in mind.This home truly exceeded expectations and gave our family plenty of room to connect and enjoy our time together. Highly recommended for large families or groups looking for comfort, space, and great amenities.

We put the beverage fridge to great use with our drinks and overflow of food. Much easier to grab drinks from that than wet coolers. The padded patio furniture was appreciated to snuggle, rock and rest in the fresh air! And the laundry access was wonderful to stay on top of towels! All of these amenities plus the fully stocked kitchen made it so easy to arrive and start relaxing! Thank you!
