Nice month in Key West!

Nice property but wife said it needed a more thorough cleaning (baseboards, under beds, etc.) but visible areas were okay. Pool was not functional but we were given opportunity to use the Hampton Inn next door. Pool will reopen 2/16/25. Overall, we enjoyed it.

Key West Get Away

Just concluded a wonderful 30 day stay in Key West! We had a terrific time exploring the island and enjoying the restaurant scene. A significant aspect of our enjoyment was the quiet and safety of Alex’s Salt Flat Condo! Highlights included: comfortable beds, excellent air conditioning, and never ending hot water! Our host Alex was an excellent communicator and very accommodating. All in all a fine choice for our 30 day stay. Paul and Marie

6 weeks home away from home

Likes: Perfect jump off point for hitting downtown or anywhere in the lower keys. Spacious apartment for 4. Lots of closet space, but bring extra hangers. Fully equipped kitchen. Recently renovated. Theoretically endless hot water from tankless heater. Awesome oversized fluffy bath towels. Tastefully furnished. Brand new washer/dryer. Plenty of parking. Two minute walk to pool/hot tub or tennis court. Nice, friendly, safe community. Less liked: Only morning sun on balcony and not for very long, but I'm guessing it's longer in the spring/summer. Dishwasher doesn't do a very good job, needed to run it at least twice to be effective. Mirrors over the bathroom sinks are at munchkin height. No TV in either bedroom, just the living room. That could be a positive for others but not for us. We bought a cheap one off Facebook to use on our stay, lol. Airplane noise. It's a thing, but not all the time. It depends on what direction the planes are taking off that day. You get used to it (except the very occasional fighter jets. they pack a wallop, lol). We were mostly fine so I guess it depends on the person. The pool isn't heated. Overall a very nice stay at a great price. Would stay again.
