I booked this unit with the intentions of staying here for 2 nights and I texted the owner a day before the booking asking if there was anything i needed to know about going into the complex before we arrived to be more prepared bcc i’m driving all the way from san antonio. i got no response. so the day of, about 12-1 pm, i texted again making sure everything was cool because we had already arrived in houston. i still got no response. thirty minutes before the check in time *3:30 pm* i texted again and let the owner know we were on the way and if there was anything at all that we needed to know, to send it to me before we arrived. 20 minutes before the check in time, i finally get a text back from the owner saying the dates weren’t available… if the dates weren’t available, i wouldn’t have been able to book the unit… so i exaggerated my frustration bcc the owner could have most definitely told me this before i made it to houston being that i did communicate to them that i made the reservation and his response was “the ac is down in this unit & i didn’t know the unit was booked until 20 minutes ago”. luckily i had family to stay with in houston but if i didn’t?! i would’ve been stranded here. the communication is poor and the overall experience was exasperated. if i could rate zero stars, i would.
