Minimalist Guest House Behind 1907 Historic Pyramid Cottage
KBOX features a highly tailored interior with central air conditioning, a smart TV, electric glass cooktop, convection microwave oven, disposal, wireless router, bathroom with shower, solid surface countertops, large bay windows, roll shades, cork floors, and a large glass entry pivot door. This apartment has a great, secluded outdoor patio with an outdoor fireplace that has a view to the Phoenix skyline beyond it!
The Grand Pyramid Cottage (the main house) is home to me, the owner of the property, Christoph, and also hosts a small design and architecture studio (Kaiserworks) on the second floor during weekdays. The studio occasionally hosts small events on the first floor of the main house. The atmosphere of the property as a whole is like a peaceful, tranquil garden. We are looking for a guests that would like to maintain that peaceful vibe. KBOX tenants have access to a laundry room at the back of the main house by appointment.

My name is Christoph, I live in the main house on this property, which is a historic house called the Grand Pyramid Cottage. An architecture and design office occupies the second floor of the main house, which imbues the property with a subtle energy of young creatives coming and going during business hours. I am of German heritage, love modern and historic architecture, and gardening.

Garfield Historic District has a wonderful mix of new and old buildings and houses, families that have been here for generations as well as new transplants here for one of the three hospital complexes, students attending ASU / U of A, and young professionals. Combined with the nearby restaurants, the vibe is active and urban, without negatively impacting the quiet garden enclave that surrounds the KBOX guesthouse.
