About Dorothy Sheffield
This is our family cabin. We have a large family, (11 kids, 11 in-laws, 32 grandchildren, plus Steve and myself), we wanted a cabin that would be a all season getaway that would be big enough for the WHOLE family. We love to be outdoors but mostly we just love to be with each other.......family, that is what it is all about!
Dorothy Sheffield purchased this Cabin in 2008
Why Dorothy Sheffield chose Brian Head Ski Resort
This cabin is a perfect gathering place! It is right on the slopes of Navajo ski run. They have reworked the ski runs so you can get to the other side of the mountain by riding the lifts over the road, so all of the ski slopes are accessible from our cabin. My favorite time of year to be at the cabin is summer and fall...It is absolutely gorgeous up here. There is so much to do. We are close to Panguitch Lake, Cedar Breaks National Monument and Bryce Canyon and it is only a short drive to Zion National Parks. There are many 4-wheeling and snowmobiling trails, so this is just an all around great place to vacation.
What makes this Cabin unique
The upstairs entertainment room has a perfect set-up for a large group. There is a large sectional that is perfect for watching movies on the 72' flat screen. There is a pool table (which converts into a ping-pong table), a Foosball table and a game table. In the downstairs entertainment room, there is a TV set up for gaming, a Ping-pong table, an air hockey table and a sauna room. is a Sauna and steam shower. Outside there is fire pit for sitting around the campfire and roasting marshmallows while gazing at the stars.

Loved this cabin! We had 5 families and never felt cramped. There is a ton of open space for all to enjoy...the game rooms were a hit. Being right on the slopes was great for quick stop-offs to drop off gear or grab a snack. We’ll definitely be back!
Best House, Best Location
The home has everything you could possibly need, and had plenty of space for our large family. The location was right on the beginner run, and ski in ski out access couldn’t have been more easy. So much fun sledding right outside the door as well. The game rooms were a huge hit with adults and kids alike!
Great property for large groups, with close proximity to Navajo ski lodge. Highly recommend this property.
Great cabin for families!
Stayed at this cabin the week of Feb 17 and had a blast. The ski in ski out feature is priceless. The cabin is very comfortable and has amazing views. The game room was the highlight of our trip as our kids loved it there! Property owner was very responsive! We will be back next year!
This home is a wonderful venue for families looking for a cabin that has it all.
Ski in/ski out, game room, sledding, sauna, we had a great stay :)
