Come enjoy the miles of white, unspoiled, sandy beaches just a 10 minute walk from this beautiful villa. Check out the abundant wildlife, collect shells as you leisurely walk the beach watching the dolphin at play. Seabrook Island is just 30 minutes south of historic Charleston.
947 Sealoft has an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, family and dining rooms, two bedrooms an open loft bedroom and two full bathrooms. The living room features new hardwood floors, and a bright and cheery aqua, white, and yellow decor. There is a new HDTV and a DVD player and comfortable furnishings that invite you to relax. A wall of windows offer views to the 11th fairway of Ocean Winds. There is a full size stacked washer (HE) and dryer in the laundry closet.
The master bedroom is on the 1st floor and boasts a king size bed for your comfort, a TV and adjoining full bath. A deck off this bedroom is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee while watching the golfers on the golf course. The second bedroom, also on the 1st floor, has a queen bed. A 2nd floor sleeping loft has twin beds and a reading corner. The upstairs sleeping loft also has a deck - great for catching the suns rays or watching the stars at night. The Sealoft community has a pool for their residents and renters to enjoy.
Amenity cards giving you access to the facilities of the Seabrook Island Club, are included in the rent. These cards give you access to the oceanfront pools (seasonal), Pelican's Nest outdoor restaurant/bar (seasonal), Island House restaurant/bar, golf and tennis. Additional fees are charged for all activities except outdoor pool usage.
This great cottage is also pet friendly. If you are traveling with your dog, an additional pet fee to apply.

Our first visit to Seabrook Island
The property at 947 Sealoft Villa was furnished nicely for our family. The owners had thought of everything we might need.
The condo is located conveniently close to the beach (15 min) walk & pool is across the street. Both were relatively uncrowded.
The only thing I would add is that some of the furniture needs updating (living room) as well as some cosmetic touch ups.
We would consider returning to this site if we return to Seabrook Island in the future.

Years of enjoyment
We have spent at least one to two weeks the past ten years vacationing at the Sealoft villa. Ten years in a row tells you how much we enjoy the villa and Seabrook Island. The villa is very bright and decorated with southern charm. You have a view of the golf course and wild life from each of the three decks. Plenty of room and very comfortable for up to six people. The villa is equipment with all of the comforts of home plus extras. It is also located right across the street from one of the island pools. Bikes and kayaks can be rented and delivered to your door.
The beautiful white sand beach is a ten minute walk. Surf fishing on the beach, crabbing and renting a charter boat are all options. You can bike around the entire island, stop by the club house for refreshments and shopping. Be at Freshfields in ten minutes by bike.
You are 30 minutes from downtown Charleston where you will find lots of historic sightseeing and many fabulous restaurants and shops.
You must experience the villa and island. It's beautiful and so enjoyable!
Perfect Decor, Nice Location
Our family has always stayed at Kiawah, but we chose this house to try out Seabrook for the first time.
This is an elevated house (you must climb flight of stairs to get in) with great views of the golf course. The decks are all new with Trex and are VERY nice. The third floor loft bedroom with it's own deck is ideal for teenagers (our daughter and friend stayed out half the night!). Master bedroom is beautiful, bath is ample and there is a private little deck. Second bedroom and bath are also good size. We loved there was only one main TV in living area, and one more small flat screen in master only: our younger boys actually read in bed and went to sleep early without arguments! Kitchen area is compact, yet efficient and all appliances worked well. Spices, condiments and some coffee were all there...didn't need to buy any.
Even though it's not really relevant overall, I can't speak highly enough about how beautifully this house is decorated. This is "beach cottage" done to perfection. Nothing too fancy, nothing too shabby. Colors are beautiful and furniture is cozy, high quality and clean. Wish I could get the paint color for myself! Homeowner is also an excellent photographer and nature/pet photos are a treat to look at.
The location is closest to beach point 3, which is a VERY long boardwalk. We preferred taking rented bikes to point 1 or to beach club, as ocean access was easier (house is halfway in between). However, the wildlife viewing is perfect from 3. This house is only a five minute bike ride to either point 1/owner's club or to the beach club (where there are restaurants, a full pool, a kiddie pool, and small beach). However, while this is best location for beach club and ocean access, it is very far from front gate and Freshfield's...definitely stop on your way in for supplies and amenity cards to minimize extra market runs.
All in all, this house is an excellent value for the money. We missed the bike trails at Kiawah, but that's about it. Beaches at Seabrook were as nice or nicer than Kiawah, beach club is more intimate and relaxing than Kiawah's, and it's a much shorter bike ride to Dolphin beaching area (an amazing experience). Bikes are essential for this location, so bring or rent. The solitary complaint we have with this house is there is no Barbecue Grill, save for a cheap, tiny charcoal affair. We brought steaks and ended up broiling them. Other than this, a perfect beach rental for families...

12% SC tax and non-refundable Administration Fee added. Accidental Damage coverage of up to $1500 is included in the rental. A cleaning fee is charged for all rentals less than 4 nights.
