Esta cabaña es perfecta para familias o amigos que viajan juntos. Las decoraciones interiores fueron elegidas para representar la mejor escapada rústica pero lujosa, y sabrás exactamente a qué nos referimos una vez que entras por la puerta principal.

Te recibe una gran chimenea de piedra dentro de la espaciosa sala de estar, que es perfecta para asar malvaviscos con la familia después de que se pone el sol.

El loft de arriba tiene una mesa de billar, y hay wifi gratis y televisores en toda la casa, ¡así que nunca te aburrirás! Contemple las montañas desde el porche al aire libre y relájese en el jacuzzi del dormitorio principal después de un largo día de esquí o senderismo.

Great Property!

This cabin is special. You can tell a lot of thought went into the furniture, decor, and amenities. The location is perfect - in the mountains, but close to town.

We've had multiple stays at this beautiful home. It is always immaculate and well stocked. It's easy to get to yet secluded and quiet. Just a short hop to the ski area or Ruidoso. Extremely comfortable, warm, and relaxing. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Winter Vacay

We had a great time at Lacy's Log cabin! The location is great with beautiful mountain views. The cabin was very clean and spacious. We were not able to ski at Ski Apache like we'd hoped due to weather. We did however spend time on our last day at Winter Park. Highly recommend, super fun place to go snow tubing.

Family Time

My husband and I and my son and his wife spent the week before Christmas at this property. It was extremely clean, very nicely decorated and had all the extra amenities one might want. Our Host was a very kind and accommodating man. My son is a disabled veteran (Iraq War), suffers from PTSD and was recently diagnosed with cancer. It has been a very tough year for us. Being able to get away and enjoy nature was a blessing to us. A heartfelt thank you to our Host.

Can't wait to return!

We absolutely LOVED the cabin - it is absolutely beautiful and had all the amenities needed for a great week in the mountains. Our local contact was more than helpful the few times we needed to contact him. Our boys enjoyed playing pool and relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings and hand feeding the deer everyday was icing on the cake! We look forward to returning in the very near future. Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin with our family!

Great getaway!

Had a blast staying. The cabin is well appointed and wonderfully decorated and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great views, quiet, and cool weather. Only removing one star due to all of the smoke/CO detectors being removed throughout the home. That in itself would not prevent us from staying again, but there is a safety concern with no detectors in an all wood home that is supplied with gas...

Quaint Location, but needs work

The property is located out of the way, but it’s fairly easy to get to. The driveway and parking was tight for a truck though. After a day out on the town and golfing it was hard to comeback and relax. The furniture was rather hard and stiff, and the mattress we slept on was old and worn down. The best views are off the front porch, but there wasn’t many options to sit out and enjoy it with.

Winter Vacay

I booked this week as I have in years past with the plan to ski at Ski Apache. Unfortunately, the weather did not behave this week so we spent most of our time hanging out in the cabin. It was actually quite relaxing and nice to spend time together as a family. The cabin was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed to enjoy our time together. We did spend our last day at Winter Park. That place is pretty fun and a nice alternative to Ski Apache. We will return to stay at Lacy's Cabin in the future!

Spring break

Great stay for myself and husband, daughter and her friend. Pool table was a hit with the teens. Beautiful area. Easy drive to town. Only downside is the third bedroom was not used and who ever would have gotten that room would definitely have the short end of the stick. As the room is very small and bed seemed a bit older. The other bedroom downstairs was used by my husband and myself and it sunk in the middle some we noticed. So maybe a new mattress needed. Otherwise a wonderful stay. Loved the layout of home. The master bedroom is right next to pool table so we ended up giving the kids the master.

Wild Horses!

Great family cabin with a great hot tub! Cabin was clean and has a great floor plan. Kids stayed downstairs while we were up in the master. Pool table is just off the master but worked out great. Lots of fun. I only awarded 4 stars simply because the water pressure is so low in the house that the showers were much like portable camping showers that barely drool out water. No soap provided either so bring it along. One last negative was that the gas grill needs upgrading. It functioned but barely. The place is great other than those items and it was incredible to see the wild horses charge through the yard. Overall we really enjoyed it.

The Good, The Loud, The Lovely

Well, on the one hand I would give Lacy's Log Cabin 5 stars. The home is delightful and the view from the front deck is fabulous! We used the hot tub every night as we star gazed. In the morning we were greeted by several deer! On the other hand, unfortunately, this property is right next to a guest ranch which hosted a large family reunion the first 2 nights we were there. The first night (Friday) the party ended about 11:00 p.m., but Saturday night's party, with D.J., amazingly loud sound system and strobe lights, showed no signs of stopping at midnight. So we called the police about 12:15 and the party ended a little after 12:30 a.m. Fortunately for us the family reunion ended Sunday and we had three more nights to enjoy this wonderful property! I'm giving Lacy's Cabin 5 stars and hope "the family reunion" unites somewhere else!

Perfect Mountain Retreat

I really can't say enough good things about this property. There were six of us in total, and there was plenty of room for everyone. This place is far enough to be considered isolated and yet close enough to the amenities of Ruidoso. Our favorite part was feeding the deer every morning and collecting firewood for the fireplace. Sunsets were gorgeous every day. The kitchen had everything we needed, there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows, and the whole place was clean and tidy. We appreciated the extra toiletries in the bathroom, and my kids loved the claw foot tub. Wifi and cable worked great. Heating was perfect, and all the appliances worked. If there were any negatives, I'd say it was a little hard to figure out which light switches operated what, and the back door deadbolt sticks quite a bit. My mom was unable to unlock the door because she wasn't strong enough. Still though, I would recommend this place to everybody. I plan to rent Lacy's Log Cabin again if we return to Ruidoso. :-D

Birthday weekend getaway

We drove up for the weekend to celebrate my husband's birthday. After a 12+ hour drive everyone was ready to relax & unwind. The cabin and location is absolutely beautifull. The views are gorgeous. We had the misfortune of having NO HOT WATER the whole weekend! We contacted the property manager and i was able to grt him on the phone. He explained to my husband where the furnace was located, but unfortunately the key had been placed at a different location by the cleaners,so we were unable to check. The following morning we were able to locate the key and my husband checked tthe water heater when we returned from skiing. Water heater was not working and was leaking water. So all weekend we had NO HOT WATER & had to take cold showers and heat up water. This was not an ideal situation, but we made due. We understand things happen & we don't want to give a bad review. Other than that problem we loved the cabin, location and all the deer that go by the property. This is not our 1st time in Alto/Ruidoso we usually come up for a week during the Christmas or New Year's holiday. It's absolutely beautiful.

Great shared space with friends

We really enjoyed staying in this cabin. The fireplace, with wood provided, was so enjoyable. The close proximity to Ruidoso was nice. We were able to stay upstairs with our own bathroom while the friends we met there stayed downstairs and had a bathroom to share with the 3rd bedroom. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool table upstairs. The cabin is a great space at a very reasonable rate.

Excellent Cabin

This log cabin is really charming. The location and excellent quality cabin we’re better than I expected. Went out with family and friends to hike in area. The location was great for hike trails and the hot tub was I think the best I’ve ever soaked in. The whole experience was positive. Highly recommend this property.

Amazing cabin!

I have to say it was the best cabin I’ve stayed in. I been to ruidoso multiple times and I have to say this cabin makes you feel at home, specially because Mr. Robinson was really helpful on all the questions we had. If you are planning to have a good trip with your family this is the one, definitely recommended!

Cozy cabin
