My friends and I took a trip to wine country to beat the heat in Texas and we decided on this gem. It was perfect for us and everything we girls needed! We spent our mornings and evenings enjoying the firepit and outside space. Our host, Alex, was wonderful and so thoughtful and quickly responded to our questions and needs. We will stay here again when we return to this area!

We rented this house for an event in St.Paul over the weekend- 2 adults and 2 teen boys. The house was perfect - rooms were good size, beds super cozy, home was decorated beautifully and clean. The location was perfect - close to lots of restaurants and only a few miles from St. Paul. Alex was very responsive and the check-in process was smooth. Darby House is a great spot and we will definitely rent again if we are in the area!

We think that there are so many specials places to go in Oregon and wine country captured our heart with its beauty and relaxed community. Newberg is a charming small town in the heart of wine country. The house is located just under a mile to downtown with its shops, restaurants, wine bars and pubs. It's also close to a grocery store, drug store, and other conveniences. The street the house is on is a quiet, safe cul de sac. We will have some restaurant, bar and activity recommendations in our welcome book for you. The house is also only 1.5 miles to George Rodgers University if you are visiting for a school event. The house is under a mile to the Willamette River and a boat launch. Bring your kayaks or paddle boards and enjoy the river when the weather is nice.
