Lewis Mountain Retreat is a spacious 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with two living rooms, a fully stocked kitchen, dining space for 10 and a fenced backyard. Please note that this home is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood just 0.2 miles to UVA Grounds.

Renters Insurance, Security Deposit and Rental Agreement required with this property. Inquire for details.

PETS: This unit is dog friendly (2 dogs max) with a one month fee of 300 USD , or 125 USD /month, whichever is greater. No cats, fines may apply.

MAIN LEVEL:

- Living Room: Roku TV (log into your own streaming services), couch, 4 swivel chairs, and coffee table.

- Dining Room: Dining table with seating for 6 (additional chairs for table are available and can be squeezed around the table for overflow).

- Kitchen: Fully stocked eat-in kitchen with table and seating for 4 with fridge, electric oven, dishwasher, Keurig (K-Cups, coffee, sugar and creamer provided), microwave, toaster oven, wine glasses, and more.

- Bedroom 1: King bed, dresser, nightstands, Roku TV, closet, full length mirror

- Bathroom: Hallway access, single vanity, tub/shower combo, toiletries included.

- Bedroom 2: King bed, desk, nightstands, closets, full length mirror.

-Master Bathroom: Private ensuite located off Bedroom 2 with single vanity, walk-in shower and toilet.

- Media Room: Couch, arm chair, Roku TV, games, table with arm chairs for 4, and ping pong table.

- Bedroom 3: Two queen beds, dresser, full length mirror, and closet.

- Bedroom 4: Queen bed, dresser, full length mirror, nightstands, and wardrobe.

- Bathroom: Single vanity, walk-in shower, and toilet.

- Laundry: Washer & dryer available for guest use.

Location, location, location

GREAT location, cute house, super safe neighborhood. Plenty of sleeping options, kitchen was well equipped and Roku tv’s were easy to use. Owners were very responsive and they provided helpful information about the area. Would stay again!

Comfortable and conveniently located

Great rental. The house was clean, comfortable and stylishly decorated. It was located within easy walking distance of Grounds in a very charming, quiet neighborhood. It was exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be returning.

Weekend Stay

A group of us stayed to see DMB at JPJ Arena in early November. The location was great as we were able to walk to the arena. It didn’t look like it from the outside but the house was quite spacious on the inside. We had plenty of room and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Girls weekend

The house was clean and decorated so nicely. The welcome book was very helpful. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room. The beds were comfortable and the sound machine in each room were a pleasant surprise and greatly appreciated. Would definitely come back!

Ladies Wine Weekend

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lewis Mountain Retreat. The property is exactly as pictured and the location was perfect for our group. The beds were so comfortable - with some in our group saying they had the 2 best nights of sleep they'd had in a long time! We were able to easily arrange a wine tour pick-up from the house, and we had plenty of room to hang out together or spend some quiet time in the house. I would definitely recommend and look forward to booking another wine weekend here in the future!

Nice home close to everything!

Lots of big beds to accommodate everyone. That’s for my first got there controlling the temperature, but they were all the help us learn how to use the thermostat. The basement is kind of chilly so if you have people who run hot, let them sleep down there.😀

Wedding Weekend Getaway

My brothers, spouses, and I stayed in this property for a family wedding. The location of the home is wonderful. The neighborhood is beautiful. The bathrooms have all been redone and are incredibly outfitted with new showers, toilets and fixtures. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were stocked with plenty of extra towels and convenience items. This home had the same attention to detail as a hotel. The televisions worked, the WiFi was fast and the game room in the basement is awesome. We played card games and ping pong. There were plenty of paddles and extra balls. This was a wonderful place that elevated our first time to Charlottesville. I highly recommend this property and would gladly stay again if we ever go back.

Great for those in need of a separate floor/apartment-esq

We came from MD to Charlottesville for a wedding over Labor Day and decided to avoid traffic and stay for several days. We needed a pet-friendly option with a fenced in yard and needed quiet workspace. This rental filled all of our needs. It was newly renovated (about 75% of it - minus the HW floors) attractively appointed and was very clean and well-equipped. The neighborhood was safe and ideal for walking and very quiet considering it's close to UVA. Granted there was not a football game that weekend so it was probably a little quieter than usual. The fully finished huge basement was perfect for separate work and dog usage. Plenty of beds and the linens were very comfortable. My only constructive comments are that we needed to buy some bungee cords to hold both fence gates closed as the latches were broken and the backyard served our purposes but needs a little TLC. Overall though it was a great stay and would recommend it to anyone seeking a convenient stay near UVA or the local vineyards, breweries or other attractions. Plenty of room for the whole family, girls trip, etc.
