If you're looking for a 30+-day stay at a beautiful, unique river-bluff property, you'll find Lift Bridge Hideaway your perfect home-away-from-home. Once you wind your way along the river and through the locked gate, you will discover a magical destination. The unique layout of the property provides majestic views both up and down river, as well as over the historic lift bridge to picturesque Stillwater.

The wooded lot includes a log home with three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and many unique amenities. (The 4th bedroom -- aka, the "secret" room -- is described later.) The kitchen includes all stainless steel appliances and a charcoal grill is available for your use on the back patio. The pantry is well stocked with spices, oils, and condiments, and guests are welcome to a bottle of wine from the underground wine cellar. In addition to the open kitchen/dining area, living/game room with a fireplace, bedrooms, and bathrooms, the home includes two large "dojos" that can be used for weight lifting, yoga, meditation, or martial arts. The property also offers unique hiking opportunities. Our more adventurist guests will want to explore the decades-old logging path down to the river. Internet and Wi-Fi access is included.

The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and sitting area, while the other two bedrooms have full-sized beds, and all include ample closet space. One of the bedrooms includes a balcony overlooking the backyard and river. The master bathroom includes an iron two-person waterfall tub/shower, and both of the other bathrooms include showers. The living room includes a game table and several board games, a TV, desk, and reading area. The dining room table seats six comfortably, or eight if you don't mind being cozy. The kitchen island provides additional seating. Laundry facilities are available for your use in the completely-finished basement.

The fourth bedroom, should you need it, is the "secret" room at the far end of the home. It is connected to the house by the dojos and a mysteriously moving bookcase. The secret room includes a full-sized sofa/pullout bed (with a very comfy mattress topper), and a fireplace. A circular staircase leads to a 360-degree windowed massage room, and then another stairway brings you to a rooftop lookout tower. The tower provides exquisite views and a peaceful place for reading, observing the lift bridge and boats on the river, or just enjoying life. We also have a twin pull-out sofa bed in the upper dojo.
