Two couples, two dogs, one great time. Fishing was slow but the food, beverages and the wonderful view of the bay made up for the lack of the bite. Maybe next time (there will be). Thanks again Julia. P.S. One of the better places to see the Aurora borealis.
My Girlfriend and I loved staying here. Julia was so kind and even gave us recommendations on where to fish and a cool restaurant nearby. The house was clean with plenty of room! We really enjoyed our stay.
Amazing place, location, communication and now my kids want an air hockey table lol!! It was a great stay they had everything up there. Totally recommend staying here!! We will be back sometime.
Great place has everything you need, we went for ice fishing trip. Ice wasn't the best this year but a perfect place with ice access, couldn't ask for an easier place to stay with plenty of parking. Clean and comfortable with six people including kids just a great time.
Great place, great location and great host. The place was very nicely set up in the kitchen and bathroom. Beds were comfortable, sheets were awesome. We asked for a grill and one was waiting for us when we returned from hunting.
Hopefully it will be available for next year’s hunting trip
The house was clean and lots of room to move around. It is well equipped by the host. We needed suggestions of places to eat and Julia got back to me in record time. The sunsets are beautiful over the water. Would definitely stay here again.
House was warm and clean. View was great, got to see the eagles and ships pass by. No hot tub as site list, but I kind off figured there wasn’t one, as it wasn’t pictured (no big deal). Enjoyed the local dinner spots that we went to.
Came up to Pickford to see my new grandchild. The place was very clean, There was a mouse that was caught and we disposed of it No big deal. Would consider staying again!
This place was a perfect landing spot while our kids were at nearby church camp. Clean. Spacious. Everything you need. And a beautiful view out the back of St. Mary River. Host was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Very glad we booked.
Excellent views, was a poor fishing weekend due to weather. Had lots of fun with friends anyway. Home was cozy, clean and comfortable. I am sure we will be back. Lots of places we stay do not have wifi this did and a good selection of games and TV channels.
Clean, clean, clean! Most considerate host with which I have ever communicated. Beds, linens, towels are wonderful. Enough household supplies provided for entire stay, I had never encountered that before in a weekly rental. Ample parking for boat trailers and convenient electricity for boat. We would definitely book this home again in the future.
Before my summer rush I wanted one last quiet weekend in the UP on the water.
This house gave me everything I needed, peace and quiet, an amazing view to watch the freighters.
Only thing missing was my boat to go fishing, but that’ll be next time.
House is clean updated and wonderful for my family
Very cute and comfortable place to spend a couple of nights. The view was beautiful and it was a quiet location. The hosts were very on top of communication and made sure we knew they’d be available for any questions. If well water isn’t your thing, bring bottled water. There was also a water filter available in the fridge.
Standard two bedroom one bath house, clean, great view of the river, easy access to the house and plenty of parking. Air hockey table was entertaining, but we didn' t spend a lot of time in the house as we were visiting family elsewhere. I would recommend bringing bottled water to drink as the well water is a bit sulphuric.
My wife and I stayed 3 nights while we hiked a few trails in the upper peninsula. The home was very clean with plenty of room to really stretch out. It's the final home down a road which dead-ends at St Marys River (lake). You don't have access to the water, as there's 30 yards of reeds and cat tails, but its a BEAUTIFUL view every single morning. One important note I didn't see mentioned, the home runs off well water. The smell is strong. We drank bottled water, but just something to remember for showering and such.
