Great place. Plenty of space and close to beach. AC went out for day and got very hot but they were on it and had someone out to fix very quick. Loved our stay!

We had a great family getaway with 6 adults and 6 kids! We had everything we needed and didn’t feel cramped. The best part for me was how CLEAN it was (I’m super picky). The location was great and the golf cart was so nice to have. We would go back again!The only negative would be we almost ran out of toilet paper and I wasn’t a fan of the mattress in the largest master.

Family Vacation - Summer 2026

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a GREAT family vacation to end our summer in St. George Island. The house was PERFECT for our family, 2 Grandparents, 2 Parents, 2 Adult Children + 1 Girlfriend and 1 Aunt so having THREE King beds made it the best choice for our group. There was a hiccup with the property's golf cart but they handled it and our replacement/rental golf cart was waiting for us on arrival. Everything was convenient and we had everything we needed. The pool was PERFECT after our beach days!!!

Great house!

The house was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. We could see dolphins in the gulf from the porch. Beach is a close walk. My only complaint is the pool is not heated, but we braved it anyway! We had an amazing, relaxing time on the island.

Including a golf cart was the icing on the cake, because we got a lot of use out of it and was very enjoyable just going for a ride. Also, it is a little bit of a haul to have to walk and carry all of your beach gear to the beach, and having the golf cart was a huge help.

We loved the outdoor area with the TV, pool, and games! Communication and customer service from the owner/Forgotten Shores was excellent. The weather was not great while we were there, so we actually spent more time at the house than we normally would. The house is about 1/4 miles from the little downtown area so we were able to walk/bike to it. Close to the beach so we were able to take advantage of breaks in the rain to get in some beach time.
