Golf getaway

Convenient location for golf, Grand Blvd. and outlet mall. Less crowded than beach properties. Only negative was that the property description indicated a sofa sleeper with linens that is not there.

We absolutely adored this place! The house was just the right size for my family of four. My son had a blast fishing in the pond out back every day, and the golf cart was a real game-changer. It was so convenient to take it everywhere we needed to go, from Publix to restaurants, shops, and even the beach. The only downside was that the bedroom upstairs didn’t get as chilly as the rest of the house. But overall, everything else was fantastic!

The house is beautiful! Out of all the ones we have stayed at in Sandestin over the years, this one is by far our absolute favorite. The layout is great and so spacious. We did encounter a problem with the golf cart. It was not working so we didn’t have one for our stay. The property management company handled that situation the best they could with a completely dead (motor bad) golf cart. We made it anyway just fine with our cars. Laurel Grove community is so very nice! I will definitely save this one for the future.

Sweet place

House needed a few things. Vacuum should be checked .. noticed water under the kitchen sink. Had to call guest services several times to fix issues.

A Wonderful Fall Break

We love staying in Laurel Grove. It's close to the beach without the noise, crowds and traffic. This is our fifth year staying in this neighborhood. Our house was clean, quiet, and peaceful. It had all the amenities we needed. We always enjoy the golf carts as our main mode of travel to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The 6 person cart accommodated our entire family including all of our beach gear. The back porch was our favorite spot for morning coffee, evening cocktails, and watching our guys on the 18th green at The Raven course . We hope to stay here again!

4th Time Renters at this location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Somewhat disappointed this time renting. This was our 4th stay at this location. Our major problem was with the condition of the carpeting in the Master bedroom. It appeared to have not been cleaned in years. It is in major need of cleaning. We have also mentioned before how dark it seems in the living room. We always take 2 or 3 lamps with us to brighten it up a little. Also, we had to have mtce show up two times to stop the chirping from the fire alarms. Somebody should change all batteries more regularly and not just when a renter calls.

Thank you for your review. We love to hear from our repeat renters! The unit is thoroughly cleaned between guests, and it is deep cleaned throughout the year. Batteries in smoke detectors are replaced regularly, but every now and then the batteries do run out before scheduled. We are always happy to remedy any issue the guest may have during their stay. Happy we got a house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the first time we rented a house at Destin, instead of a beach condo. It rained almost every day during out week long trip and we were glad we had the extra room along with the screened in back porch and the golf cart was a big bonus. Kids loved every minute of it. Definitely a different type of trip, but the beach was still convenient to get to with about a 10 or 12 minute golf cart ride. Would stay here again for sure.

We love the house, we love the location, and we love the setting. My favorite part is sitting on the back porch in the morning with a cup of coffee. I’m watching the ducks swim in the pond. I’m watching the joggers run the golf cart path along the fairway across the pond. We love it so much that we came home and reserved the same house for the same time next year.
