Charming country retreat. Minutes away from the beach! A perfect getaway!
The house is set behind a long tree lined driveway giving the property maximum privacy and security.
The house sleeps 10 comfortably. Three large sized bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms. The Primary bedroom is locted off of the main area with a bathroom that has a skylighted dual shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed amd a full futon, also a powder room. The third bedroom is on the ground floor level with two full beds and a seperate bathroom.
The main area of house is an open plan layout, with a wall of sliding glass doors affording views of nature from every point of the house.
The property is wrapped by a Nature Preserve (Clinton Land Trust Preservation) for solidarity and quiet. The trail can be picked up from the driveway. A large deck off of the main living area is a private retreat to the natural habitat, with a view of a small pond, and sounds of the crickets and birds.
This is the perfect location for family gatherings around holidays, summer vacation, college graduations or for visiting professors' families. Yale University, Connecticut College and Wesleyan University are all under 30 miles away.
The house is ten minutes away from Hammonasset State Beach, ten minutes away from a Clinton Premium Outlet Mall and ten minutes away from downtown Clinton. Also close to New Haven where there are many restaurants, ie Little Italy, Yale and art galleries. A 30 minute drive to Powder Ridge Mountain Park and Resort and Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Resort Casinos.
Enjoy swimming, skiing, apple picking, kayaking, hiking trails, and many excellent restaurants and wineries in the area.
