Luxurious Mountain View Studio W/ Fireplace, Patio & Pool

This first floor studio unit at The Lodge at Spruce Peak (formerly Stowe Mountain Lodge) has something for everyone. Gaze at Mt. Mansfield from your patio, curl up with a book in front of your fireplace, take a lap in the pool or visit the spa.

Upon entry, you pass a luxurious marble bathroom on the right, then go through the resort kitchen and into the main living space. First, is a king size bed, then next the sitting area centered around the gas fireplace. Sitting area includes a sofa (queen size sleeper), leather arm chair with ottoman and coffee table. There is a desk and leather storage bench near the foot of the king-size bed.

The area is very spacious and easily sleeps a family of 4.

The resort kitchen is very useful for breakfast and other simple meals. Includes, 2 burner stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, sink, small refrigerator, coffee pot and toaster.

The Marble bathroom has a stand-up shower and deep, relaxation tub

What a great place. I personally think the place looks better than the pictures show. Bathroom and shower are a great size and super clean. Can’t say enough about this place. I also love how close it is to the Ski Valet room and to the restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again

Fall foliage trip

The lodge at Spruce Peak is such a wonderful place to stay. We will be back! This unit is located on the first floor near the hotel's amenities and was such a fun place to stay.

Perfect location

This property is in the perfect location near the front desk, the ski valet, the pool, and the spa. It was also very quiet. It was plenty of space for our family of four. The room was clean and well stocked. I would definitely recommend to others and stay here again.

Great week at the lodge

This is a great unit at the lodge, location is perfect. The check in process, valets, and hotel amenities are all included - you couldn’t ask for more. The room includes everything you need for a short or long stay. We were there for 4 days, we brought some meals with us and we also ate out. We’ve stayed in many places in Stowe, but nothing compares to the lodge. We will go back and I try to stay in this listing again!

Perfect location within an already perfect location!

As if the Lodge at Spruce Peak wasn’t already the most convenient place to stay for quick access to the slopes, this studio is located on the first floor just a few quick steps from ski valet, the lobby, and all dining options. The room is beautiful, HUGE, and clean. Such a great option if you really want to treat yourself to a luxe ski vacation. Susan the owner was always easy to get in touch with, and you have the friendly hotel staff on hand to help once you’re there.

Stowe is beautiful

Stowe mountain is beautiful, with great skiing. Stowe Mountain Lodge is the best place to stay if you are skiing on the mountain. This unit is in very good condition. It is ideally located within the resort, close to the Ski Valet, Over Easy gondola, pool, and main lobby. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tub even though the temps were in the single digits. The town of Stowe (a 5 minute drive) is charming with many good restaurants.

Perfect proximity to mountain and activity. Unit is located on first floor near ski valet and pool, which worked really well for us. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room, but it was comfortable and well insulated for peaceful sleeps despite being on first floor.

Always a perfect stay at 132

We have been renting Sue’s unit at the lodge at Spruce peak for more than two years now, several times a year. The location is perfect. It’s right off the lobby and even closer to the ski valet/boot room but not noisy at all. And just as close in the other direction to the gym and pool. Sue is a fantastic host and great with communication. My friend left her laptop and a couple of hair tools this visit and Sue went out of her way to ship them back to us overnight. I’m coming back with my husband in March and we go in summer or fall with our young children!

Leaf Peeping

The unit was lovely, as we have stayed at the lodge in a similar units many times in the past. It is on the first floor, but still has a nice mountain view. Even though we had the heat off, the unit was very warm, so we used the air conditioner when in the room. The humidifier we found in the closet was a godsend. The only problem we had was the Keurig did not work properly, and had to purchase coffee each morning, adding $50 to our stay. I tried to communicate with the owner, but could not respond on initial feed, so, since I did not have a phone number or email, I used rental requests to communicate, as it was my only option. I was sternly reprimanded by the owner for doing so twice. If I were provided a way to communicate without doing so, I would have. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay.

Mount Mansfield Magic

The property was very clean and had a beautiful view of Mount Mansfield. Basic toiletries were provided but would recommend bringing your own dish soap and sponge for doing dishes as needed. Overall had a great stay it's important to note though that we traveled here during the off-season so the gondola to Mount Mansfield was closed and the village shops and restaurants were all closed with the exception of the beanery. Everything in town was open though and there are shops and restaurants nearby. You also will need to use the valet service or pay by the hour in a privately owned lot in the back of the property. Valet is included, but you do need to tip every time you ask for your car or drop it off.

We had been visiting Stowe in both the summer and the winter for years and finally chose to buy in a location convenient to skiing and hiking, Stowe Mountain Lodge.

What makes this property unique

We love the convenience of staying 'on the mountain' during ski season and being first at the lift lines without even getting up early! We immensely enjoy the views of Mt. Mansfield from our patio.
