Pet friendly 2 bedroom house with queen size beds and 1 roll out bed 1 pull out chair if needed, 2 full bathrooms in historic downtown Monticello. we offer a fully furnished home with kitchen and a coffee nook there are smart tvs in every room and washer and dryer covered parking for 2 vehicles enjoy a walk through town to the many shops and local restaurants our place is only about 25 minutes away from the capital city of Tallahassee, and about 25 minutes from Thomasville Georgia, if you love the outdoors we encourage you to take the family to the wacissa river where you can rent kayaks or a conoe. pack a lunch and enjoy the crystal clear water and floridas wildlife, if you love beaches there are a few to choose from St. George island is about a 2 hour drive which makes a nice day trip with the family

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Leave bedding on beds. Towels and wash cloths put in bin on washer. Trash goes in bin by driveway.
If using the dryer, PLEASE empty pockets, the dryer can get damaged If coins get inside drum.
You may NOT have overnight guest. Only the number of guest at the time of your booking are allowed. Your stay will be Charged $200.00 per person per night for any other guest.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Pets cannot be unattended in the house, dog crates are available. Crates are to be kept in foyer only.
Trash needs to be put in the garbage can provided at the driveway Tuesday and put out by the road for Wednesday a.m. pickup.
Check doors when leaving and be sure they are locked.

The bedrooms were spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Everything in the house really felt like a home you could be proud of. WE loved our stay there. I had brought with me some food that was already cooked and I found the appliances were very handy in heating and even cooking. My son came over every night. We had home cooked meals, played games and celebrated my sons birthday in comfort. It made it a very special time with my family. Loved loved it very much. Thank you very much.Irma, Mark and Toni

Everything you need

Wonderful place to stay. Best stocked and cleanest VBRO EVER! Very comfortable beds! Monticello is a growing place with all you need just a short ride away. Restaurants and coffee shop. Took my granddaughter to some of the beautiful clear water springs the panhandle has to offer. Went fishing and visited family. This house was centrally located for all our jaunts. Owner easy to communicate with and very helpful. I will visit again. Also, wonderful Farmers Market just down the street.

A sweet stay!

We stayed at this property for two nights while visiting family in the area. It was very clean, extremely well-appointed and in a perfect location to walk or drive to nearby restaurants. We ate at three different restaurants in Monticello and they were all fantastic. We will definitely stay again.

Charming home, perfect location

Close to cute shops and wonderful restaurants, this home is stocked with everything you could possibly need to explore the area. It was our second stay here and we enjoyed the addition of the beautiful fire pit out back.

Great place Great location

My husband and I and our newborn traveled to the area to watch high school football in Aucilla. The house was very clean, had everything we could need and more. Great location. The town is so cute and tons of little shops and good eats!

Another delightful stay

This was our second time to stay in this property in Monticello. Last time was just the two of us, this time with two of our adult kids. It is a delightful house, well-equipped and very clean in a perfect location to walk or drive to restaurants in town. There are several good restaurant choices that we have visited. The owner was very responsive to several questions we had. We are looking forward to another stay here to visit our family in the area.

Loved our stay at the charming Lagniappe

Everything was perfect—the house is beautifully restored and decorated, the beds are super comfortable, the location is within walking distance of downtown's restaurants and shops. It's thoughtfully stocked with anything you could possibly need and we enjoyed many hours relaxing on the back deck. Our hosts were super nice and responsive to any questions. All in all, a wonderful visit. We'll definitely be back as we have family nearby!

This cozy home was very clean and had all the comforts that weary travelers could ask for. The host even offered to supply fresh farm eggs for our morning breakfast. Who does that? Great stay, thanks to the host!

Charming house & lots of room

We didn't stay long at this property, we were in town for a family event. But the time we were there we enjoyed. The house is very clean, easily assessable and relaxing to be in. We would have liked to stay longer and will be back. The house was well stocked and well appointed.

Family Trip

Our stay in Monticello, was warming. A " home away from home". Beautiful Quaint Town, friendly all around! This home had all you needed, very clean and well kept. Even special touches in each room , dog friendly to accommodate your needs. Close to Town for many restaurants , grocery stores. Very Historical too! We will be back! Deb & Rocky

Did it again and so glad we did!

We decided we loved this little cottage so much, that we had to rent it again. Everything was so cute! With Christmas right around the corner, they decorated the cottage and even left us a little holiday tasty treat. That was so thoughtful! Again, great location near everything and we will definitely be back! Thanks again!

Cozy place

We were there for our son's graduation at FSU. Everything was pretty booked in Tallahassee and we found this little place about 40 mins away. House is equipped with everything you may need, even little toiletries. Bed/pillows were pretty comfortable - pillows thick which is how we like it. House is clean. Weird little concept of front door can't get in through (no walkway). You do go through the back door. Door was a little tricky to open/close, but we got the hang of it. Didn't get to use all amenities - just bed/shower/coffee. We pretty much ate in Tallahassee. Wouldn't mind staying again if we ever come that way.

Cottage with Charm

We stayed here for a quick over night stop and will definitely be back! They paid attention to all the little details. Walking in, we immediately saw all that this little cottage had to offer in charm. We felt right at home! The location was perfect and close to everything AND The beds were so so comfortable. Being a pet friendly cottage, they made our pups feel right at home with the dog treats, dog beds, and dog bowls. Lagniappe is everything in the description and more. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we loved it!

I didn't do it... I swear!

The property was nice and clean, and the location is great for getting to everything around the area. There's even a handy map picture hanging on the wall of the town that shows all of the little points of interest and looks to be hand painted, what a great idea! The beds are fairly comfortable but the pillows are a little hard so I would recommend bringing your own. It's an older home but there are many upgrades that give it a modern feel. There are Roku TV's in the living room and in each of the bedrooms, so bring your username and passwords for any streaming services you might have a subscription for. I like that they also added additional A/C units to help cool it down. I would recommend that the owners place a soft lamp in the living room. The LED lights are too bright for the evening. Now I have to mention the issue we had. My family always bring our own pillows when we travel because we usually don't like the pillows of where we stay. After we had left the property, the owner tried to charge us an extra $25 for a pillow that they accused us of stealing. Even though it was our own pillow that we brought with us. They sent me a screen capture of the security video with me carrying my pillow out of the house and assumed we stole their pillow. After much deliberation with the owners explaining how the pillow we carried to our vehicle was our own, the owners dropped the extra charge. The owners should count their pillows so that they don't falsely accuse someone else.
