Secluded Guesthouse with pool access.

This very private and quiet guesthouse is perfect for the industry professional in town for a brief or extended gig. We strive to provide very comfortable and imaculately clean accomodations with white cotton sheets and duvet cover, all cleaned to perfection between guests. Internet is 400-500 Mbps. Apple TV. Kitchen has all necessary items. Fresh flowers for all guests. There is a queen size bed plus the sofa folds out into a queen size sleeper. A well behaved pet is ok with approval. There is off street parking for one vehicle. It is 1.5 miles from the popular Montrose shopping and dining area. And 1 block from the city bus stop. Fresh eggs are always available.

The guesthouse has a bedroom, bathroom and a combo living/kitchen/dining area. There is plenty of closet storage. White cotton linens & towels are provided. The kitchen has an empty fridge, dishwasher, cooktop and convection microwave.

You have complete access to the guest house & parking area. Laundry and pool are also accessible but contact is preferred to make sure the dogs are put away so they don’t kiss you to death.

Hilltop getaway

Leellen was a great host. The cozy guest house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Also several nice treats were provided. The driveway up is certainly a challenge but the reward on top is worth it.

Pool and Hot Tub out of service

The property is lovely. It is very peaceful and private. The driveway is very steep, narrow and has a hairpin turn at the peak. One must be very careful so as to avoid hitting solid rock. The steep driveway is what makes the property private and quiet. I was surprised to see the pool empty. Leellen explained that she usually does not have it up and running until the end of April. The property description does not mention that. When using the hot tub, it abruptly shut off when I got in. I was told the breaker switched it off because the controls on the edge of the hot tub got wet. This is not the case. They were perfectly dry. I was offered a small refund for the pool and hot tub being unavailable. That was much appreciated. Also mentioned in the property description is fresh eggs in the morning. Although there are chickens on the property, I had forgotten the mention of the fresh eggs until the day before I left. If I had remembered that I would have loved a couple of fresh eggs. The bed is a "sleep number" bed, which I have never slept in before but found it to be nice & comfy! I appreciated the snack basket on the table. After a long day of travel it was late at night and I didn't know where to find food, so that was great.This property is very nice and the interior is very comfortable. It was nice to sit on the sunny deck overlooking the hills and read. It was perfect place to enjoy a week visiting friends and old stomping grounds. I recommend it.
