Nestled on 2 acres in the DFW metroplex, Alpaca Landing is THE place to stay during your visit to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Just 6 minutes from Grapevine Lake and boat launch at Twin Coves Park and conveniently located near many popular destinations, shopping and entertainment, you will find your stay (for up to 10 people) relaxing and unique. Wake up to a cup of coffee on the front porch overlooking the alpaca herd and amazing sunrise. Settle in for the night next to the fire on the private, covered back patio or get in a game of corn hole.
Separate, dedicated game house with pool table, fusball, ping pong, old school arcade game and full bathroom. Plenty of off-street, private parking including boat and RV (no hookup) parking. Televisions in main living room and all bedrooms with Sling TV provided. Bluetooth speakers in game house and main house to play your favorite streaming music.
A short 20 minutes to DFW Airport, The Gaylord and Great Wolf Lodge…35 minutes to Dallas, 40 minutes to the ballparks and 45 minutes to The Stockyards in Fort Worth. Don’t forget to schedule your alpaca feeding (included in booking) during your stay!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Lock the doors and return the keys
Please keep bedding on beds at check-out to facilitate washing and sorting.
Place key box (with keys) on bench where they were located at check-in.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
PLEASE respect neighbors and minimize noise after 10:00pm. Events are only allowed with prior approval from host and fees may vary.
Do not climb fences, enter pasture or feed without alpaca handler present. Alpaca handler will be on-site 2x daily (more when heat index reaches 130)
You may schedule feedings anytime during your stay (with heat index below 130). Feedings are included with your stay at Alpaca Landing.

This home is beautiful and large enough for an entire family. It is so well stocked there is nothing didn’t have the others communicate very quickly, and they are generous enough to teach about the alpacas and allow children or adults to feed the alpaca. That was the highlight of this day We wished we had more time to be at the place because there is so much to do with the game room and the beautiful fire pit covered patio with the most comfortable cushion chairs, but it was our weekend we were involved in wedding things most of the time I would highly recommend it to anyone Looking for a large house. I hope we can stay there again thanks.

A great place to stay!

The house and grounds exceeded our expectations and the owners were great in communication and so kind. While the house was located in a neighborhood, we felt out in the country. Next time I will plan a longer stay. Definitely arrange a time to feed the alpacas.

Having recently stayed here to attend my nephew’s high school graduation, my niece was so enchanted with the property she asked to have her 14th birthday celebration here. With a few friends, they had a great time. They spent the majority of their time in the game room and the adults outside on the comfortable patio. Amenities include everything you might need and the bedrooms are very comfortable. And of course the alpacas are fabulous! We will definitely stay here again,

Amazing property, plan time to enjoy it!

The property was just amazing! The home was spotless, the amenities were excellent, and the rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The exterior amenities, seating and game space are excellent. The game room is awesome as well. Loved going out to have coffee with the Alpaca's in the morning. We were in town for a family reunion close by and didn't spend enough time enjoying this property, we wished we had an extra couple of days to just enjoy it with our smaller group.

Clean, organized, supplied well, lots of space, activites to do on property, & comfortable neighborhood. Felt welcomed even before we met the host when they came by to tend the alpacas. When Sean was here he graciously greeted us and allowed our kids to feed the animals, even welcomed our guests who came to visit for the evening. We made memories here! 10/10 will be back!

Phenomenal stay!

We absolutely loved this house! You have so much privacy and you don’t feel like you’re “in the city” but you’re 10-15 minutes from anything you could ever want. The house is so beautiful and spacious, beds so comfy, and the alpacas were the icing on top! We couldn’t have had a better time. Sean and Melanie were so great and very responsive, we enjoyed chatting with them each morning while getting to feed the alpacas! We have already decided to make this property a yearly girls trip!!

Pristine home and game room!

This our family's second time to rent this VRBO. It is spotless and has plenty of room inside and out to entertain local family members. You can arrange to feed the alpacas.

Perfect Stay - Hidden Gem

Our group was three families (6 adults and 2 toddlers) that came to DFW from around the country for a wedding. Sean's property was perfect! Everyone had lots of room. Everything was clean. The kitchen was well stocked. We arranged for an Alpaca feeding with Sean which everyone enjoyed. We used the full size grill and patio, and everyone enjoyed the gameroom. For anyone coming to North Texas with a group for an event, this is an awesome place to stay with exceptional hosts. Thank you!!

Little breath of fresh air

We had a wonderful stay at Alpaca Landing! Sean and Melanie were the perfect host and hostess. Communication was prompt and friendly. Their home was lovely - inside and out! There was something for every age range in our group. And the Alpaca scheduled feeding (even on a holiday weekend) was a special treat. We loved absolutely everything about our stay and are already planning another trip for next year!

Best VRBO ever!

This property completely exceeded expectations! The house was inviting, comfortable and homey, with everything we needed, down to cozy throw blankets. The kitchen was equally well-appointed, with plentiful dinner plates, glassware and cooking utensils. The game room was amazing, with enough games to keep all the young adults happy. The best part was seeing the gentle alpacas from the windows and participating in their feeding times. I would recommend this property to anyone, and will definitely book again.

Perfect place for our family gathering

Immediate family stayed at house many days surrounding one day for extended family to visit. Perfect venue to allow for many conversations in different rooms, outside, and the detached game room. Hosts were very accommodating to time alpaca feedings with visitors. Thanks Sean and Melanie for the time and care you have put into the home. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

PACA House!

We had 8 of us in this wonderful house. The outside spaces are perfect for gatherings and everything was well appointed. The hosts are very charming and they thoughtfully dropped off wine glasses for us after I mentioned not having any. They went above and beyond- highly recommend!

Wonderful Experience Had by All

The property and buildings are beautiful and well taken care of. You can clearly see the owners take pride in their farm. The alpacas were adorable and while we didn't have time to feed them with our busy schedule, they were very fun to be near. There are only two things that might have made it even better: there were limited pots and pans, so our longer stay was a little limited in what we could prepare; the walls are quite thin, so anyone trying to sleep while others are up is a challenge. But overall, it was a wonderful experience. The host was extremely responsive, which was wonderfully helpful. We would definitely stay there again!!

One of the best places ever!

Where do we start?! Super comfortable and clean house with everything you need. There is an amazing patio where we are breakfast every morning, a front porch where I enjoyed the sunrises while watching the alpacas and bunnies. We got to feed the alpacas two mornings which was one highlight. Another highlights was the recreation room where we could play foosball, ping pong, pool and more! All in all it was one of the nicest home rentals we’ve ever been in and we will return if we are ever in the Dallas area again.

Fantastic!

We loved this place and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The house was very clean, cozy, and had tons of space. Far enough from neighbors that we didn’t have to worry about our kids getting loud. The game room was an awesome bonus and kept the kids entertained. It had most basic necessities provided. The only negative, which wasn’t a big deal, was that the game room bathroom had quite a bit of spiderwebs and a little hair in the shower drain. It just seemed as though that room isn’t often used, not a dealbreaker at all. Would love to stay here again! Thank you for providing a wonderful place to stay!

Couldn't fit an Alpaca in our luggage

Underpromise--overdeliver. These owners have that all figured out! The property is better than described, and their communication was the best I've ever had from an owner (and we've stayed in MANY properties over MANY years). The Alpacas are a unique and wonderful feature, and my daughter-in-law couldn't get enough! The game room is just indescribably fun, and there were family ping-pong rivalries renewed! From a basket of Ghirardelli chocolates, to a Nespresso machine, a water purifier, and reasonable expectations at checkout, this property will always stand out for us in a good way! It made my daughter's wedding week so much better!

Exceeded expectations in every way! Pristine property inside and out. All the luxurious creature comforts were provided. Everyone at our family reunion from one year old to 78 year old were delighted to stay and play. We made all our meals there - plenty of space for our large family to cook and eat together. The game house and alpaca feedings were great memory makers. We have had family reunions all over the country and we all agreed this was the house that was the most comfortable. Owners quickly respond to VBRO texts and are genuinely devoted to giving guests the best possible stay.
