  • terrific house and location

"We've returned to this house for several years in a row. It's very comfortable and clean, and this year the owners updated the living room and the front bedroom furniture. We were pleased to see how nicely they're maintaining the place year-to-year. It's a very short walk to the beach, which is perfect for us since we spend most of our time on the beach and can come and go easily. The owners are lovely and a pleasure to deal with."

  • Everything we hoped for and more

"From my first correspondence with Tim until the morning we checked out, everything was positive. Reservations were easy, questions were answered promptly and the house and neighborhood met our families expectations. The description of the house was accurate and we were able to accommodate our multiple families of 4, 2, 2, and 1. The first floor of the house has recently been upgraded and the second floor has the beach cape feeling. Air conditioning throughout made for comfortable temperatures when needed but our party enjoyed the sea breeze and of course the screened in porch was the biggest hit. There was also a rooftop deck that provided some wonderful star gazing and a.m. sunrises. The backyard had plenty of space for beach equipment storage, outdoor shower, picnic table, outdoor dinning table and chairs and umbrella, and grill. Approximately ten houses to the beach and three houses from the boulevard (don't let the quick access to the boulevard deter you, the house was so quiet we never heard the street noise at all!). A quaint neighborhood with Wawa for the conveniences, Marvels for the donuts, fritzes liquors, and dinning at Woodies too, Terrace Tavern, and the California Grill. We couldn't forget the ice cream on the corner. Of course there was quick access by car or foot to the putt putt on 34th Street, or Bay Village in Beach Haven. We also decided to go fishing in the Atlantic and traveled up to Barnegat Light for a fishing charter but there are also charters in Beach Haven too. The guarded beach was wonderful at the end of our street too. The neighbors were friendly. Our members of our party have been coming to LBI for 12 years, 30 years, 20 years and 30 years and we all agreed that this house met our beach vacation needs, at a fair price, in a nice neighborhood, and quality owners. We would definitely stay here again."

  • Immaculate gem of a house

"We stayed in this great, immaculate gem of a house for a week in August. The owner could not have been nicer and more helpful. We couldn't get one of the porch umbrellas to close and he came over immediately to fix it. He has obviously taken great care to insure that your stay will be very enjoyable. The house is incredibly well maintained and has everything you could possibly need. The living room opens into the kitchen, which has an island, so everyone is in the same room while you are cooking. The large TV and incredible steero system were great additions, and we enjoyed listening to music while relaxing and cooking. There are 2 large sliding doors in the living room, and plenty of skylights all through the house, so there is a lot of natural lilght. The beds were very comfortable and the washer and dryer were huge, perfect for family loads of wash. There is a great wrap around deck with an outdoor grill, picnic table and lounge seating, and another deck on the roof with another picnic table. It was so enjoyable to eat out there and relax on the breezy summer nights. The house is air conditioned and also has ceiling fans, so we were incredibly comfortable in the intense heat of this past week. There is a great outdoor shower with a mirror and dressing area that we used almost exclusively. The beach is a block away, and the owner provides beach badges. The beach was beautiful and large enough that you don't feel crowded. You are also very close to several minature golf places, plenty of great restaurants and ice cream stores, great location. If you don't mind a short drive, we recommend Harvey Cedars Seafood for a really great meal. Go early as it gets packed. We really loved staying in this home, and will come back here again when we vacation in Surf City. Thank you Roger and Helen for a wonderful family vacation!"

  • A restful retreat after Superstorm Sandy

"While our house was being rebuilt after Superstorm Sandy, we needed a place to rent. We could not have rented a more restful home, great location to all LBI offerings, everything you need is available. It is a true visual feast of the sand and ocean. Glenn was very accommodating to our needs and readily available. The fall season is one of the most beautiful on the ocean and the home is warm and welcoming to those who love the ocean. We have now moved back into our house, but will always remember our beach house experience."
