The location of the house is wonderful, right on the water. We had a wonderful time despite the house and property needing some TLC.

We enjoyed lakefront location and very responsive host. The beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked. The property would benefit greatly from some repairs, updates and clean windows.All of the issues mentioned in previous reviews were still present during our stay. Keep in mind that the house has 3 bedrooms and a loft, not 4 bedrooms.

The check in time was later than expected because we were told we could check in at 3:00 pm and we were not able to get in until the actual check in time which was 5:00pm . We were not informed that it was a gated community. Although it was taken care of on a timely manner we arrived on the property with garbage on the grounds. There were a couple of issues as far as shower knob in master bathroom was not properly functioning and the main bathroom toilet is very loose (unstable). The sliding door to deck is difficult to open and the sliding screen is bent and does not stay on track therefore does not close properly. Otherwise the house is very accommodating and spacious.

Nice location on the lake. Kitchen set up was great. Bed was comfortable and the place was clean. Rained all day but were able to enjoy the fireplace. Get wood before you check in. The host was friendly and prompt to answer questions.

We had a blast! Security was great in the neighborhood. The house had great views and we loved the outdoor area with the fire pit! We hope to return again.

Excellent stay! The house was cozy, yet spacious. It was clean & the beds were comfortable. Right on the lake with an incredible view. The owner was very responsive & informative. Highly recommend!

The location was great. “Lake front property” deer walking around. The house was very old and falling apart. Spiders were infested all over the premises outside by doors and deck. My wife had a spider in her hair when she went to shower. The showers are very tiny. If you tall it will be uncomfortable. The bedding was comfortable so that was a plus. The fire place inside was nice! But over all house upkeep was poor. Photos on line did not match what we walked into. There was a strange odor too when we arrived. Had to air out the house. We won’t stay at this property again.

Exceptional views

The views from house are amazing. All the windows with lake views ❤️. I was surprised at the amount of wildlife- deer, squirrels. Was a great stay for water and nature. Also, Payden dog, enjoyed!

Comfortable

The house was comfortable, the beds were clean with brand new linens. Overall the house was clean but could use some detail work, nothing a good coat of paint and some TLC couldn't fix.

The location is perfect for stress relief. At all times in the house the view was there to remind you how nature can calm you. At times the sun reflects from the lake into the house providing a majestic glow inside. Our dog loved the location and the room to run out back. It is tidy, bathrooms and counters were very clean, abundance of dust throughout the home though prevent me from a top cleanliness rating. With that in mind, the location makes it all very worth while and I would stay here again. The owner provides a perfect amount of items such as towels, blankets, wash pods, dish soap, paper products and this made it very enjoyable as well. Easy to feel appreciation for that effort.

This lakefront location for our annual family weekend sounded ideal, but the rain kept us inside, where it was difficult to ignore the issues.-The lake view was the highlight. Beyond that, the fire pit was far too close to the deck, the grass was only cut halfway to the lake, & the tall grass hid holes & random rocks that made walking unsafe. Junk and trash were scattered around the property. The “canoe” in the listing was actually a rowboat, and there were no oars-only kayak & paddleboard paddles.-The interior looked like a 90s thrift store: mismatched décor, random artwork, rickety dining chairs, & a wobbly coffee table. Sliding door handle was very loose. The dirty loft windows should have showcased the lake. Spiderwebs were everywhere, including a thick one behind the bathroom door. There were plenty of beds, but the listing falsely claimed four twin beds in the living room.-No extras-8 towels for 9 people, no spare blankets, just enough toilet paper, & not enough paper towels. The kitchen had utensils but almost no forks or spoons. One outlet had a broken prong stuck in it.-The upstairs shower handle came off in my hand. The downstairs toilet rocked because it wasn’t secured, an issue noted in an 8/25 review. The tub was dangerously slippery, & on our last morning it backed up & wouldn’t drain, plus water leaking from under the toilet.Overall, the stay was just okay. The HOA seems strict about paperwork but not maintenance. Justin’s communication was excellent.

Communication was good and information on check in was very helpful. We arrived on a Friday evening and we were given the heads up it gets busy. We arrived early evening and there was a long line but it moved pretty quickly. Getting to the house from entry gates was easy and house was clean and as pictured when we arrived. The location itself was great just note that the private beach next to house got a little busy some days but certainly not disruptive to us and we actually met some friendly families during our stay. Kayaks and row boat were well used as we spent most of our time fishing or swimming. Every cast led to a fish on the hook and kids had a blast. I regret not bringing a little raft to float around in! Lake was peaceful in the evening and fun during the day with other folks fishing and floating about. Many convenient amenities nearby. Kitchen had all utensils needed. Washer and dryer worked just fine. My only negative and only reason this isn’t 5 star is that the home is in need of tremendous TLC. The shade in lower bedroom fell off when we tried to open. The bottom bathroom toilet was not bolted down and rocked when used. There were patches and holes in wall, fridge plastic drawers broken, deck had multiple soft spots and bad boards making walking on it a bit uneasy, upstairs tub broken (which we knew as it was stated and we didn’t need). So 5 star for location, 5 star for communication 4 star for physical condition of house
