The Sunrise House is part of the Riverwest Vacation Rental Development at the base of Spirit Mountain in Duluth, MN. However, it is privately owned and managed directly by the owner rather than the development, which gives you a more personal, specialized, and overall better experience!

The best part is that our homes have no construction occurring next door, and the most beautiful, unobstructed views of the Sunrise!

Ski Hut, Burnett Dairy, and Spirit Mountain Ski Resort are next door for convenient equipment rental needs and last-minute specialty cheese snacks.

This Premier Sunrise house is at the heart of Duluth's outdoor access to adventure. Take advantage of a variety of activities available from this convenient and scenic location. The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
- WEDNESDAY Guest | Please put the trash + recycling out on the road - greatly appreciated! - Please start a load of used towels in the laundry. - Please run the dishwasher and clean dirty dishes.
- Please leave the bedding and sheets in each room. - Please close and lock all doors and windows. - Please make sure the sauna is off. - Please ensure that you turn the thermostats off.
- Please ensure propane is turned off and clean the grill if it was used. - Please clean any pet hair to avoid extra cleaning fees. - Please place ALL trash and recycling in the bins in the garage.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
- $35 per dog, per night. Pets are not allowed on furniture or bedding and should not be left unattended. Pet hair/stains = $100 minimum cleaning fee.
No smoking or vaping on premises
No events without prior approval.

This was a beautiful home with lots of extras for the stay. Only reason for not rating skiing is that we did not ski! The home is large and spacious but very warm and inviting to guests. Thank you for the great stay!

We had an amazing time! The house was beautiful and clean. The trays on the beds added a very welcoming touch. The management was very attentive to anything we needed. The only negative was no comfortable seating on the main level for those that have difficulty with stairs or want to keep the cook company. One of the most beautiful, well maintained and supplied VRBO’s, I have ever rented! Melissa was amazing! She was responsive and answered all questions that I had! My family had an amazing time! We hope to one day rent this house again.

Spacious new build that had plenty of space for our business retreat. A comfortable place to stay and plenty of room to meet. Great trails just outside our door for walk/running or biking. Close to Duluth restaurants for dining options or a great kitchen to dine in. Would highly recommend these units!

Weekend getaway to Duluth

Stayed here for a weekend getaway with some close friends. The house was as advertised and is a beautiful place to stay! We all loved the layout and how it had everything we needed. The sauna is a huge plus after being outside all day! Will be staying here again on our next getaway to Duluth!

Family getaway

Beautiful property. We were able to fit all of us, ages 3 to 73 comfortably. The house was well equipped for cooking for a group. Close to places we wanted to visit in and near Duluth. Trails near by for walking.

Very nice for a family vacation

The house is very nice, very clean and new. The hosts did an excellent job stocking the kitchen, bathrooms, and closets (we could have used more towels and washcloths, but there were 7 of us). It’s near the freeway, which allows for easy access to activities and restaurants, but it’s not a loud area. There are nearby trails within easy walking distance, which were excellent. To other folks bringing dogs, just know that the yard is not fenced, and you are charged an additional daily fee to bring your dogs along (not clear from the listing). But overall, a very nice rental.
