Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed staying here. My primary recommendation would be to increase the adult pool time to 2 hours per pool rather than 1 hour to accommodate people that don't have children. The grounds are beautiful and every staff encounter we had was positive.

Relaxing Vacation in Sanibel

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely stay at Sanibel Moorings. Our condo was very clean and stocked with basic items (kitchen utensils, paper towels, starter coffee, etc.). We had a beautiful view of the canal and utilized the complementary kayaks one day. The furniture could use some updates. Our only other complaint was the lighting. Warmer lightbulbs would give a more comfortable feel. The property was gorgeous! We loved all the flowers! Our condo was just a short walk to the beach. It was nice that there were 2 pools, so if one was crowded, we could use the other one instead. We appreciated the quiet hours as our toddler is a light sleeper. We had wonderful, relaxing vacation!

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When checking in 7/20/24 had ants one roach in Kitchen,Master toilet clogged,Lagoon Pool closed by LCHD and only Lagoon Grill open.Reported incidents to office.Was told Pest Control comes on Wednesdays, no one from pest control showed for toilet maintenance came and fixed toilet.Called Lee County Health Dept. and told waiting on Moorings to call for pool inspection.Pool closed since Fathers Day. Ask office and said waiting on LCHD.Pool on Gulf side had mold in corners of steps, umbrellas broken and wasp flying.Saw guest stung by Wasp.Stayed on Lagoon side, when it rained heard water dripping between walls in bathroom. Water also dripping on stairs from ceiling.Definitely roof issues in building 1600.Beach was beautiful as usual. The staff was trying to accommodate concerns but the impression was that they were tired of hearing same concerns from guests.Reviewed rates for 2025,rates drastically increased from 2024.I believe the Mooring should regroup and consider opening plans to ensure Rentals are 100% ready. Rushing to open is only making guest unhappy with porperty.Sorry to say my family rented to units with 7 guests, will be not staying at Sanibel Moorings in the future until the property is ready for guests.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the time we made the reservation to the time we checked out we were well taken care of. We took our family down for a week and rented two of the units. Both were very nice and clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Don't miss the manatee's in the back canal or the huge pod of them we saw just off the beach. Loved everything about our stay!!!

Girls trip

We had a wonderful time on the island and stay at Sanibel Moorings. The only thing that could have been better was the internet service in the condo. We could hardly look up things to do in town. It would not keep us from coming again, though. Thank you!

Spring break

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful property. It exceeded our expectations in every regard. The gardens are amazing and the beach was very easy access and not crowded. A minor issue was that beach chairs were in slightly short supply if you did not arrive early in the morning. The staff are attentive and helpful.

Great beach location!

Lots of things to do right within Sanibel Moorings. The walk to the beach is short, and umbrellas and chairs were available free of charge. The beach was peaceful and serene. The condo was clean and comfortable. Basketball court and tennis was right next to our building which was great for my teen. There was no elevator which made luggage and groceries a little difficult. Overall a good experience!

Nice family place but far from groceries

We stayed 6 days and enjoyed the stay there. The shades is one of the rooms was broken and I’ve asked to fix it but they never did. All swimming pools are close in the evening and we would have enjoyed more if they were open as there is noting else around the resort. We could have taken the car for the main road where all the restaurants are but parking is also an issue...o stall was a nice place to be.
