Have to leash pets which I wasn’t aware of before hand. Had chosen larger property to let off leash. However, they have to be leashed for good reason. Lots of wildlife!

The description led me to believe it was remote and isolated "on 5 acres.". Reality is you're in a country suburb with no walking trails and the owners want dogs on leash and I was not given the address until the week of the booking.

House appears to have not been deep cleaned in years, there is hair build up on all of the windowsills. Curtains are see through. Hair all over the house, in made beds in the shower all over the floor, couch and throw pillows. House had a funky closed in smell. Downstairs bathroom, the toilet was a safety hazard. Furniture is very uncomfortable. No TV. Dining room table and stools were uncomfortable and wobbly. Also, soap in bathrooms was watered down, and used sponge in the kitchen was disgusting. Towels are old. On the plus side there were good options for plates and drink ware. Water feature and wildlife were a plus. Back patio area could benefit from having dead grass cleared away to make it more appealing and inviting.

Leah, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We're sorry to hear that the home did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding cleanliness and the condition of some of the furnishings and amenities. We take housekeeping concerns seriously, and we'll be following up with our cleaning team regarding the issues you noted, including the windowsills, hair, towels, kitchen sponge, and bathroom supplies. We'll also have the downstairs toilet and other items you mentioned inspected so that any necessary repairs or replacements can be addressed. We appreciate you pointing out the positives as well, including the selection of plates and drinkware, the water feature, and the wildlife around the property. Your comments about the patio are helpful too, and we'll keep those suggestions in mind as we continue improving the home. Thank you again for bringing these concerns to our attention.
