About Alyson Dutch
I am a business owner in Malibu in the PR industry.
Alyson Dutch purchased this House in 1991
Why Alyson Dutch chose Malibu
This place is incredible. Quiet. Nourishing. Close to LA, but seems so far away. I bought this property because I couldn't think of any other place in the world I'd rather be. It's like the love of your life; you marry them, because you can't imagine the rest of your life without them. The quiet keeps me grounded and creative. The smell of the earth and trees inspires me. The animals who so freely share this land are my friends and I get to see them up close every day - it reminds me of what's important in this life.
What makes this House unique
It's an incredibly special place and the quintessential Malibu experience.

A very special property under a canopy of ancient oak trees, this 2 acre property sits alone on the side of a gentle Malibu canyon. Exceedingly quiet and very private, deer and coyotes are daily visitors, as are exotic 'Malibu parrots,' huge hawks and various small birds. An avocado ranch is next door, hiking trails right outside the door, a stream and a creek make excellent playing for kids. Very close to Santa Monica, the house is only a 20 minute drive. The village of Malibu, is filled with wonderful little restaurants, a movie theatre, gourmet grocery and a few high end 'Beverly Hills esqe' boutiques like Lanvin and Ralph Lauren. Really, though, Malibu is a very provincial little town with locals who mostly know one another. The beaches are private and magnificent and for those who are looking for celebrity sightings, it's often that you'll bump into Mel Gibson at the grocery store or Brittany Spears at Nobu. Nick Nolte and Jane Seymour are regulars at the movie theatre on Sunday nights. Malibu is simply magical and the only place to visit while in Los Angeles.
