Literally Perfection!

Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place for a mommy daughter spring break! Location was excellent and you couldn’t beat the view! Very clean and accurate to listing! It was our first time at the gulf and we will definitely return to this spot!

Perfect and Relaxing!

We were looking for a nice, relaxing getaway and couldn't have been more pleased! Tastefully decorated, close beach access, warm and clean pool, comfy sand. The location was great and the condo was clean, efficient, and comfortable. We are already talking about the next time we can get away to Okaloosa and stay here - we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in that vicinity! Thank you to the owners for making our vacation as great as it was!

Perfect Place

We enjoyed our time at Paradise Found. It was perfect for our family of 6. The proximity to the beach and the washer/dryer were my must haves, and this place more than delivered! We also like that it’s close to Destin, but far enough away to be away from all of the traffic. Thank you!

Vacation

Me and my family stayed here we have been coming to fort Walton for many years and stayed in a couple different condos but this condo by far was the best it was beautiful inside and out the photos are spot on and that view is amazing. The pool is awesome and we like that it is smaller and everyone that we met was super nice and friendly we will definitely be staying here from now on! Thank you again for everything!

Short summer trip

We stayed 4 nights and had a great time. The property is clean and in a good location close to the convenience store and easy to get to other nearby attractions. The unit itself was clean, had plenty of space, and felt comfortable. There is no beach view from the bedrooms. Our only complaint would be the elevator. It smelled like leaking fluid and needed service. We were worried it would fail during our stay and we would have to walk.

Interior nice

The interior of the property was vey nice once you were inside. There are a couple negatives. Because of the buildings location, looking towards the beach there are buildings on both sides and therefore you have a partial view of the beach. The second negative is the building itself is in dire need of renovation. The hallways are very unkept including bugs, dirty rusty doors. The elevator is not trustworthy enough to use and being on the 7th floor this was an issue. Minor issues are a lot of light bulbs are burnt out and the towels are on their last bit of use and not enough provided. Overall I would not recommend this unit.

Quick Weekend Trip

We visited Ft Walton to attend a wedding. The property we stayed in was perfect and fit our family’s needs. This is the best time of year to visit, less traffic and less crowded beaches. Everything was great and I’d highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to visit Ft Walton.

Paradise Found was fantastic!

I cannot say enough great things about this property. My family and I loved everything about it. From the spectacular view, the grounds, the condo accommodations, it was simply fabulous. Being directly on the beach was breathtaking and the condo was like new. Kitchen was very generously appointed with everything that you need and more. Pool area was clean and everything on the property was very well kept. Having the beach chairs and umbrella waiting for you every morning was extremely nice. The area has plenty to offer with multiple restaurants in walking distance. And a short drive away to a plethora of shops, activities and more restaurants. Working with the owner was flawless. Questions were answered, booking went smoothly and their follow up to check in was very detailed. I highly recommend Paradise Found for your next stay in Fort Walton. We will be back! Thanks!

Family getaway

The condo was very nice and clean. We enjoyed being in Fort Walton particularly because the restaurants were not very busy at all in contrast to staying in Destin. We also chose this condo because we were interested in staying in a condo building that wouldn’t have many units so that we could have a better beach experience and not compete for a front row umbrella on the beach. We were pleased with our experience here.

Lipstick on a pig condo

We were very excited to rent this condo for our family vacation however the pictures are VERY deceiving. The building to the left looked abandoned. They were doing roof work the entire week so all the workers looked right into our condo and balcony. They even had conversations with my husband while he was out there, absolutely no privacy. The building is old and set back further than all other buildings so you cannot see the sunrise or sunset which was very disappointing. You have a very small, limited view. The pool is tiny and feels like a motel pool. The shower in the master looks huge in the pictures, it is not. It's a little over sized with an awkward ramp going in. The fan/vent in the shower looks like it's never been cleaned. We had to bring another fan into the bathroom/bedroom as it stayed steamy even with all the fans on for way too long after a shower. We didn't have enough hot water for 2 adults and 3 toddlers to shower. The bathtub in the guest bath is horribly awkward and nearly impossible to bath 2 kids in. Halfway through the week we noticed a rotten smell in the kitchen. It smelled like sewage coming from the drain/garbage disposal. There were also times where there was little or absolutely no water pressure in the kitchen sink. The cherry on top was the incident with the neighbor and owner. Since our first night we could hear a dog howling from our condo. Didn't think much of it as we assumed other people in the building may have dog(s). We had someone ring the doorbell twice at 8:30pm, we have a 2 and 3 yr old that were already in bed. Apparently we didn't answer the door quick enough because this man decided to then pound on the door waking up our kids. My husband answered the door and he was right off the bat rude accusing us of having a dog that won't stop howling. We don't even own a dog. When my husband responded with no and were just renters, he very rudely replied he owns a condo, as if that matters. We then had a voicemail and a rude message on VRBO from the owner that we signed a contract stating no pets allowed. That the neighbor was going to call the police and already complained to the HOA. My husband again replied with we don't own a dog and the police are more than welcome to come in to verify. Never an apology for bothering us just an "ok" response back. All in all this place is NOT worth the price we paid. We've stayed at nicer places for less. It's in a run down area and the people are nothing but rude.

Initially you contacted us outside of VRBO asking if we would rent to you directly at a cheaper rate, we responded NO. You did then rent directly through VRBO and brought more guests that you stated in your reservation request. The building next door is not abandoned, but rather refurbishing their rooftop pool to get ready for season, which we have no control over. Our unit is the Penthouse, so it is the top floor and almost at same level as their roof. The direct gulf front view from our condo is amazing as stated in our prior reviews. The rest of your complaints are absolute nonsense as you can read the exact opposite from prior guests 5-star ratings and exceptional reviews. Several of our neighbors who live in the building did hear a dog constantly barking from our unit for days and contacted us. We have no control over our neighbors if they decide to knock on your door or file a noise ordinance with the local police. I left you several voicemails to please return my call which went ignored. I then emailed you through VRBO our neighbor's concerns of a dog barking, but never accused you of having a dog. You replied with an ugly response. You never contacted us or attempted to reach us with any of your concerns or complaints so we may have addressed them. This review is unsupported and in direct retaliation to our decline of your request to rent our unit to you outside of VRBO and circumstances outside our control.

We chose our condo in Ft Walton because it offers the beautiful beaches yet the private relaxed vibe only offered by a small building. We always have a front row seat at the beach and the views from our top floor unit are hard to beat. We love Destin is just a short drive.

Everything about our property feels special to us. We’ve stayed at many place but fell in love with Paradise at Dune Pointe because of the view. Walking down the hallway the view of the endless ocean takes our breath away every time. We love the chic beach vibe inside and the master shower is a show stopper. The small building and direct beach access makes the beach itself feel private even in the middle of summer.
