About this property
Cozy Wine Country Cabin #7 for 2 People
About this space
This cozy cabin is freshly built with comfort & space for 2 guests. Eat, drink, relax, and even talk to the livestock if you so desire. The all-new cabins are built for your comfort & retreat from hectic schedules & city life. There are other cabins on the property where guests enjoy the quiet calm of nature, grill steaks on the fire pit (if there's no burn ban), walk around the forested property or just enjoy the calming views from your front porch with a glass of wine.
The space
The cabins are a perfect place for a quiet refuge to relax in heart of the Texas Hill Country becoming known as "Texas Wine Country" or "Napa Valley East". Your cabin has it's own front porch from which you can watch nature. The cabin is private with its own living areas, kitchen, bedroom & bath. You'll be close to town without having to hear weekend downtown traffic. Take a walking stick and enjoy the paths on the property. Be prepared to see deer, fox, rabbit and other smaller wildlife. Safest for you, & our wildlife, is to observe but keep safe distance. If you want animal interaction, the goats will be your constant companion particularly if you carry bread in your pocket. Otherwise, they're about the property always eating abundantly.
Guest access
Your cabin is private for you. Public shared spaces are the parking lot, paths about the property, fields with the goats, the fire pit, or if you must, the free laundry room. I advise against this as you are on your weekend get-away! But it's there just in case you need it.
Other things to note
COVID 2019 update: Yes most wineries and restaurants are open for take out and there is a lot of delivery options now.
Chef Anderegg has agreed to deliver scrumptious food contactless if you would like to enjoy meals and snacks on your front porch as you further relax and enjoy the countryside. Let us know if you'd like her business information. She is EXCELLENT!
Be sure to bring sunscreen, bug repellant, comfortable shoes with socks and a hat if you want added protection. A walking stick is always good along with a pouch to carry goat snacks. Always throw snacks on the ground or, if you're brave enough, hold your hand open flat with food on the palm and fingers back away from slobbery goat tongue and teeth. Let them come to you.
