Jim and I love the mountains and love being near our family in Driggs. We want to share our beautiful home with others and allow them to experience the beauty of this incredible area.
We work with you to make your stay special. Call us and find out.
What a beautiful condo, fully equipped with everything we needed. The location is beautiful, everything we hoped for and more. Peg and Jim great to deal with. Thanks for a wonderful, restful stay.
We enjoyed our stay. Everything you need to cook is available in the kitchen, a few family friendly games, nothing missing... we felt at home. Driggs “down town” and ski hill rd intersection is a 1.5 miles down the road. We will definitely be back.
We stayed here for a month in January, so really had a chance to use and get familiar with the place. It was clean when we arrived, and in excellent shape. Overall the unit was as described, very nice, although I wouldn't call it "luxury". I would also note that it is described as a 3 bedroom, which is technically true, but bedroom 3 is really set up as an office room with foldout double futon couch (no dresser), which worked fine for us.
Kitchen was adequately equipped, with plenty of dishes, utensils, etc.. If you are a cook (as we are) and are used to a gas stovetop you should know the stove is electric.
Bedrooms were comfy, although the linens and pillows were a bit long in the tooth and could use some updating. Bathrooms were very nice, with double sinks and plenty of towels. Having the laundry room was terrific, with large oversize washer and dryer, perfect for our extended stay.
Not noted in the description is that unit is on the second floor. Be aware that there is no unit number outside or anywhere near the door. We arrived at night and spent 20 minutes trying to find the unit in the complex. It turned out the unit number is high up on the second floor porch support, which we didn't notice until days later. A number on the corner of the building or by the entry door would have been helpful.
The location is fantastically convenient, about 1 1/2 miles from the center of Driggs. There is a large well equipped grocery store, health food store, liquor store and several restaurants in town, all just minutes away.
Before our trip we also considered a unit on the mountain road (with a hot tub, which we really wanted), but having been there for a month I can say we were glad we picked the in town location. All in all we would highly recommend this property, and would gladly stay again if visiting the area.
Nice, cozy place to stay
We decided to run away from the usual Thanksgiving hustle/bustle in favor of a relaxing 4 day stay in Driggs. We are serious cooks, and Thanksgiving is a special dinner, but all apprehension about cooking in kitchen away from home base quickly evaporated. This place is fully stocked and did not disappoint. Outside of the kitchen, the condo meet all expectations. It is well furnished, very clean, and quite comfortable. There is a deck to both the east and the west, allowing views of both sunrise and sunset. There is a great view of the Grand Teton in the morning. And Driggs is a funky cool place. It has really grown since we were there in 1992, but retains all the charm you would expect. Jackson is just a brief hop away - but just a few hours of the Aspen like uber rich vibe in Jackson is enough for us. We will definitely return in the summer-fall months for some fly fishing!
The only thing keeping it a 4 star (and not 5) is a lack of a grill.
We vacationed at this property in mid-July 2017. The pictures of the condo and the descriptions are 100% accurate - and even surpassed our expectations when we got there in person. The owners have thought of EVERYTHING to make your stay as comfortable and easy as possible. The condo is equipped with all of the luxuries of home, especially the kitchen. They provide a wealth of information to guests so you do not have to spend time wondering where to go or what to do! The condo is in a fantastic location - we found ourselves within reasonable driving distance to Grand Teton National Park WY, Targhee National Forest ID, Jackson WY, and Jackson Hole WY. There was plenty of space for his family of 6 to stay, play, relax, and explore all that Idaho and Wyoming have to offer! I would highly recommend staying at this condo if you are planning a trip to this part of our country!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this condo in Driggs, ID. The place was very clean,
conveniently located - not too far from Jackson, Tetons and Yellowstone and it was also very quiet. It was perfect after a day of sight-seeing and hiking.
The Tetons offer all the outside activities and the beauty of nature. Grand Targhee Ski Resort and Huntsman Golf Club offer fine music in the summer and skiing in the winter. Close to Jackson Hole Wyoming with all the sights to see, galleries, restaurants and shopping. The elk refuge with sleigh rides in the winter is a special treat. This beautiful condo is a great home base for exploring Grand Teton National Park , Jackson and Yellowstone National Park with all the fishing, boating, hiking and outdoor adventure.
