Host communication was excellent and timely. The place was well maintained and fit our needs well. Neighborhood is an interesting one that I hadn’t really spent time in before. A fun little brewery around the corner and some pretty nice little neighborhood restaurants within a few minutes. Finding street parking near the apartment wound up being very easy; was able to park right next to it. The fact that I found parking right by the place was fortunate, because even by SF standards, this street the home is on is extremely steep. It would have been quite a work out to have to walk up and down the street very often if we had been forced to park a block or two away.Nice little courtyard outside with an interesting view. There is a major multi lane freeway just down the hill from this yard; so if the door and window were open for fresh air, the traffic noise was very noticeable for a country boy like me; my girlfriend is a city girl and found the noise soothing.Between the steep street and the access to the apartment and the layout, I would not recommend this place to anybody with any mobility issues.Beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows and blankets. Wall mounted heater in spare bedroom/office space, and a small portable space heater for main room. For warmer days, there were a couple fans. There was also an air purifier for those who may like to use it.I had a couple questions that the host was very responsive to. They also stocked up a few snacks.
