Friends and Family Basecamp in Kanab

Welcome to Mulberry Place in Kanab. The perfect gathering place for friends and families to relax after an amazing day of exploring the area. This 2,800 sqft, 3-bedroom, 2-bath home comfortably sleeps 8 guests and is within walking distance of restaurants, shops, trails, city parks, local festivities, etc. The kitchen/dining area is well stocked and provides seating for 12-14 people. The best room in the house is the 900 sq. ft. great room where conversations start in the morning over coffee (or hot chocolate) and end in the evening with your favorite nightcap.

Enjoy the huge fenced yard with large patios, BBQ, tables, and lawn areas to relax and watch the world go by or play yard games. Don’t be surprised if you see a deer or two waltzes by the front yard in the early mornings or late evenings.

There are five beds - a king bed in the master bedroom and bedrooms 2 & 3 each have a queen bed plus a twin daybed. There is also a queen air mattress and bedding available if you need another bed. Infant travel bed available upon request. If you need more room, there is an upstairs apartment that rents separately, "The Cozy Hideout," which sleeps 2-3 can be booked separately. The home is equipped with high-speed WiFi, a 75" TV in the great room and smaller TV's in each bedroom. The home has central heat and baseboard heaters and is cooled with wall A/C units.

There is over a quarter acre of parking for larger vehicles, RVs, and ATV trailers. Plus, you can drive your ATV right from Mulberry Place to many of the popular ATV trails.

The home is well stocked with supplies. If you find that you need anything during your stay please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are happy to make your stay the best it can be!

Please no smoking or vaping indoors, and no pets are allowed.

Other things to note:
For your safety and security, our home is equipped with two outdoor cameras. Rest assured, they are only used to monitor the front and back doors to ensure a safe and secure environment for our guests.

Paradise in the Desert

Our family stayed at this fantastic property - it had everything we were looking for and more. A giant great room, kitchen, washer/dryer, and lots to do. The kids loved the fooseball table and played it all week. A lot of extra effort was put in to the property to make our stay fantastic, and we greatly enjoyed our time in the southwest.

An Awesome Place !

Two Couples and my Daughter came and stayed at Mulberry Place for six days. It Really was Wonderful. The place was very clean and well organized. Everything you can think of of was provided and top of the line. For example, the Cookware to the furniture, decorations, and outdoor entertaining, was excellent !It certainly made our trip to Kanab a memorable vacation.Thank you ! I lived most of my adult life in Salt Lake City, Utah, but my hometown is Kanab. I convinced my husband to move to Kanab in 2022. I love being surrounded by Red Rock and generations of family members. We bought a Jeep, and hubby is learning to rock crawl while I learn how to pick the line - I'd rather be learning to rock crawl!

Being a Host is challenging and fun! I worry far too much about little things, but I want our guests to have a fantastic stay.

Why they chose this property

We were looking for a large lot within the town limits. This was the perfect spot, located in the original town site near the K-Hill. It is far enough off the beaten path for privacy but within walking distance of shops, restaurants, the City Park, and hiking trails.

What makes this property unique

We loved the great room and know our guests will too. It is the perfect place to gather after a long day of exploring. The backyard is enormous, and we have fun plans to make it unforgettable. As a bonus, it has over a quarter acre of parking, which is great for guests with ATV trailers.
