Kay ; I am very disappointed with the misleading information you are providing. I know you would of liked for me to continue discounting you rate, but at the end of the day, we are not in the business of giving free rentals. What you failed to understand that even if we are new to THIS website we have been in businesses for about 4 years and have hosted over 300 guest. All the other websites have multiple reviews and 5 star rating from people that really came to enjoy all of what our island has to offer. let's address your review : Furniture in the streets : Not true , we take pride and have pictures and live video of when you arrived. Steep stair case : Very true specified on description of the home. No railing : Not true cement wall about 4 feet long secures guest from any falls. We also do not rent to people with small children unless they sign a waiver, event then we had visitors from France that stay with two small children for 2 months.And guess what never complain.Also the drop you are talking about is in the property under construction next door , also our property. Where you hanging out the security wall? Security in the area: Never once an incident reported, let's be honest the police department is s short walk from the house. 300 guest not one incident. Economic status on the town: Kay unfortunately this is the sad situation of the island. We have a lot of poverty in the area and all over the island. This should not be a reason of your concern. They are nice caring people that do not bother or threaten any guest in any way. It is sad that you did not take into that into consideration when researching this vacation destination. Poverty is part of this island, funny coming from somebody is such a strict budget. The details that were left for you were not even mention, the million dollar views of the coast not even look at, you did not even bother looking at the terrace. The truth is that we did not check you in a day earlier like you requested, and you found lower cost accommodations and decided to stay in another location. After all you use the stairs to try to get me to give you some money back in exchange for a nice review. And by the way, let's make it clear you did not rent El Palomar Beach House , you rented La Mina, the studio downstairs for a lower rate. You failed to mention that part. Normally I would ignore this review , I know we cant please everyone. But this was a little below the belt to ask for a refund for a nice review.
