Lago Superior Paradise - Hermit's Cove

Situato sulla penisola di Keweenaw del Michigan, vicino a Calumet, l'Hermit's Cove è una bellissima baia sabbiosa sul lato sud-orientale della penisola. A circa 15 miglia dal lago Linden e Calumet. Il villaggio più vicino (due miglia) è Gay.

La cabina rustica è completamente isolata e disponibile da aprile a novembre. Affitti dicembre - marzo non disponibili.

La cabina è di 26 piedi per 30 piedi di livello più basso con un livello superiore dei quartieri per dormire su una metà e tavolo da gioco e divani sull'altra metà. La camera da letto principale al piano inferiore è separata dal resto della cabina. Tubature interne durante la stagione primaverile, estiva ed autunnale compresa la doccia.

La sauna finlandese a legna "Finnleo" è disponibile per 12 mesi all'anno. Splendida vista sul lago e sulle montagne di Huron.

La stufa a legna del piano principale, con porta a vetri, può riscaldare tutta la casa, ma sono disponibili anche due radiatori a bagno d'olio per le fredde giornate invernali.

La spiaggia di sabbia bianca si estende su tutta la baia.

Cabina ha un letto matrimoniale, un letto matrimoniale, più tre letti singoli, una serie di letti a castello e tre divani (uno un divano letto). Culla e box inclusi. Cucina ha frigorifero, fornelli elettrici e forno, oltre a forniture completamente rifornito. Le pareti sono caratterizzate da un abete nordico bianco nordico scandinavo in tutto l'occidente per il nordovest accogliente e l'aspetto scandinavo. Great location right on Lake Superior. Had all the necessities. Very peaceful stay! Very long beach to walk along. We were able to find yooperlites on the beach and pottery in a nearby river. Definitely would come back again.

We love hermits cove. This is a beautiful location in the Kewenaw. It is pretty well stocked with everything you need. The view is breathtaking. The owner responds to your questions quickly. The price is reasonable.

Our family had the most relaxing and wonderful week during our stay! We spent our days taking road trips to the sights around the U.P. and swimming on the warm days. Our nights found us hunting Yooperlites - with some success! The cabin had everything we needed and plenty of room to spread out. Everyone along the beach was very friendly and we felt very welcome everywhere we went. Thanks for an amazing family vacation!

Hermits Cove

My husband and I spent a week at Hermit’s Cove and had a truly wonderful time. We loved walking the beautiful beach, relaxing in the sauna, and cold plunging in Lake Superior, it was invigorating and unforgettable!We couldn’t have asked for a better location. The neighbors were friendly, the sunrises were stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere made it feel like a little slice of paradise.Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We will definitely stay again!

Couldn’t ask for a better location!

We came here because we wanted to be right on the water and wow did this place deliver! Beautiful sandy quiet lakeshore. The home was cozy for the two of us and had most of what we needed. I think a deep clean and a few new frying and sheet pans would make this place perfect.

Long Weekend at Hermit Cove

First time staying here - booked for an entire week next year. Very clean and a beautiful setting. No internet and no TV and we didn't miss either of those "conveniences".

Lake Superior stay

We loved being so close to the lake. We loved using the fire pit (although there was no newspaper to use to start the fire). The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of pans, dishes, etc. The only problem we had was being unable to lock the doors. We tried to call the owners but had no cell phone service, so we trusted that everything would be safe we we went out. We did enjoy being internet and tv free for several days. Thank you for letting us stay at your cabin.

Could've been perfect

We had a lovely stay and the location was great; unfortunately, I was charged afterward for dog feces in the yard when I had picked up after our dogs. A neighbor's dog was running loose in the area and visited us daily.

Beautiful sunsets and sunrise

We love the walks in the back yard of Lake Superior beach in our stay, wind was high so we didn’t get much in the water but did found glass and beautiful rocks in our walks . We will come back to this place again

Lake Superior Beauty

My husband and I were only able to secure a 3 day booking. Wish it could have been a couple days longer but glad we had what we had. I worried a little on day one the neighbors to the left were running a tractor, spreading gravel or something. They also had a bunch of cute but noisy little kids and dog who liked to bark at me. . Thankfully that only lasted about 3 hours and then all went quiet. The camp is clean and bright with large windows. The lake and grounds beautiful. We would definitely stay again. . Last thing. When they say check out at 10 am they mean it. We just put the last things in car at 9:57 and my husband said cleaning people are here. lol.

Rock picking vacation

The property was awesome.......kinda hard if you have a trailer with side by side. No place to turn around. Had to back up out of the driveway to back up into the driveway. Was a bit frustrating, but we did it. The peaceful and quietness of the cabin was exactly what we were looking for, and we had the best vacation that we needed. Oh, and sitting on the porch, we watched fireflies at night that we haven't seen for many years.

Beautiful Hermits Cove

We love this property, it is peaceful and very beautiful. This was our second time staying here and we already have reservations for next summer. It is in an excellent location for all things Kewenaw. This is a great location to get away from work and unplug and just enjoy lake superior.

Beautiful location.

We stayed for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed this property. The cabin is a little rustic but has a wonderful shower with great hot water and fabulous water pressure. Perfectly appointed kitchen. Private main bedroom. A lovely gathering area to relax indoors and out. Very comfortable sofas and beds. Gorgeous beach with incredible views and just wow on all the sandstone. This is a perfect location to get to all the trails in the Keweenaw Peninsula. Just remote enough but still able to get to a town for groceries and many choices of restaurants in all the nearby towns. It was just wonderful that we could bring our dogs as they are our babies now. We really appreciate the generosity in making this cabin available to rent.

Stunningly view and quiet location.

My family and two dogs had a wonderful time at Hermit's Cove! The location on lake Superior is fantastic! Its a great location for site seeing of parks, and quaint towns. This cabin is stock with everything you need and things you didn't realize you needed! We loved just sitting by the shore and enjoying the view and the sounds of the waves crashing.

Bittersweet

Been staying at Loots Loodge every summer for 6 years. The bitter part of my review is this will be my last stay at Marks wonderfull cabin. The sweet part of my review is I now have my own place on the Keewenaw Bay. I have enjoyed every minute of my time at Loots Lodge, and Mark has been a great landlord. I will miss the Lodge, but I love my new cottage.
