This beautiful custom built 3 Bedroom home with 2 full bathrooms, and a 2 car garage sits on 7 acres of very private land. A large pond for ice skating during the winter, and fishing and swimming during the summer along with an early 1900’s barn are also on the property. The house is recently decorated, but still keeps a true Vermont charm, from a large roaring fireplace in the living room to a great screened in porch to relax and read overlooking the pond. As of 2015, the kitchen has all new state of the art appliances.

The house is a great retreat in all seasons. It is 2 miles from the Stratton Mountain Access Road, only 11 miles from Bromley, and 7 miles to Magic. Great Cross-Country Skiing in Peru, VT at Wild Wings Whether you are looking for some of the best skiing on the east coast during the winter, or fishing, biking, hiking, rafting, hunting during the warmer months it is all at your fingertips if you want it to be. The Bromley Fun Park is also great for kids. This home is also great for romantic getaways or just to relax and escape from your daily routine.

About Lisa Bennett Stokes

This property has been in our family for decades. My brother was a great carpenter and artist and built this house with his own hands. It has many unique custom features and is a special place for our family and friends. We use the house whenever it is not rented. Skiing at Stratton / Magic in the winter or enjoying biking, hiking, swimming in the quarries and Farmer's Markets in the summer months.

Absolutely beautiful property. The pictures don't even do it justice! Close to Stratton Mountain (may 10 minutes). We really enjoyed staying here & would highly recommend!

It was a magical experience!

Peaceful and Relaxing Get Away

My wife and I stayed at this lovely South Londonderry home during the July 4th week. We needed to find a quiet getaway, mostly to relax and to escape the noise of city life. We found exactly what we needed. The grounds are spectacular! We were lucky enough to have a week of beautiful sunny weather. It was so soothing to sit on the porch, looking out at the pond and trees, listening to the birds sing rather than to the honking of car horns. The kitchen where we prepared several meals is well stocked with plates, utensils, pots etc. There are three bedrooms. The master bedroom on the second floor where we slept was very comfortable. I especially liked the large stall shower in the upstairs bathroom. Lisa, the owner of the property was responsive and helpful ahead of our visit. Everything went seamlessly. We left feeling rejuvenated. If anyone is considering a stay here I'm sure you will be pleased.

Perfect in Every Way

The house is beautiful. It is well equipped, tastefully decorated, comfortably furnished, perfectly sited, and designed well for gatherings of family and friends. It met all of our needs and enabled our family to enjoy one another's company in ways that have become too rare as we have spread across the country. We look forward to returning for other occasions.
