We had a great stay for a guys’ weekend. The house was comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we could have needed, especially in the kitchen. We really enjoyed the outdoor space, including the porch, fire pit, and multiple seating areas. The rooms were very comfortable, and the house was located in a quiet residential neighborhood that was perfect for relaxing. The host was also extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would absolutely recommend this property and would gladly stay here again!

Family Gathering

The property was more than I expected when seeing it in person. It offered a variety of accommodations and comforts for all age ranges. It’s a place that I would rebook and recommend if needing a large space for family and friends.

The only challenge during our vacation was the traffic on I-64 through tunnels. I’ve heard they’ve been under construction since 1100 BC. Once we got to the house, everything was as expected. All of our excursions were very convenient and enjoyable. We highly recommend the Virginia NASA museum. The beaches at Fort Monroe were great for kids. The waves were gentle. We also recommend the ghost tour at Yorktown. Full of ghosts and history. The anglers in the family loved going out to the dock every to fish and crab. We cleaned up 4-5 bags worth of trash we picked up on the shore near the dock. We discovered it’s best to do this at low tide. I highly recommend this vacation home. We will definitely return here in the future. Our host, Nina, was great and very attentive. We were short some sheets and towels. She had brand new ones to us within 30 minutes. She made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you Nina!
